Lily gritted her teeth when Chan sat next to her at the restaurant. She was still upset with him for punishing her the way he did that morning and was successful in making sure he knew. He was beginning to get fed up with her bratty behavior, but they were in public, so he had to stay calm. The other's had sensed the tension, but they all had agreed that any problems in their individual relationships were not the business of others.
Their meals were served, and the conversation began to die down. Chan held a piece of kimchi to Lily's lips, but she refused the bite. Out of frustration, he snapped his neck. Suddenly, he furrowed his brows and spoke in a stern tone, "Lily! Eyes down, mouth shut. Only address us as 'sir.' Do you understand?"
Lily's blood ran cold, and her expression revealed that she was heartbroken. When they had discussed their limits list, Lily made it very clear that she was not ok with being made to look away from them for any reason other than sensory play. It was a hard limit that she would not negotiate with. Everyone at the table glared at Chan as anger rushed over them.
Lily blinked a tear from her eye and choked as she whispered. "Red."
"Chan, what the fuck!"
"You fucking know better."
"What are you thinking!"The whispered eruption of rage was quickly silenced when Chan said abruptly, "JYP just walked in! Babygirl, I'm so sorry, but please. You have to do it."
Immediately understanding the situation, everyone played their roles and acted as if they hadn't seen him walk in. Chan whispered to Lily, "Babygirl, I am so sorry."
Lily kept her eyes on her plate and said nothing.
The pain that Chan felt in that moment was worse than any physical injury he had ever had. It broke all of the boys' hearts to see Lily forced into that position, but they knew that if JYP had any suspicions, their operation would be blown.
Just as Chan suspected, JYP stepped to the table. He placed his hand on Chan's shoulder and said, "Bang Chan, what a nice surprise."
"Mr. Park. It's a pleasure, as always." Chan replied as convincing as possible as he stood and bowed.
JYP panned his eyes to Lily and snuggly grinned. "Seems as though your new sub is working out for you." He said as he grazed her cheek.
Rage consumed the boys, and Lily flinched, though still focusing on her plate.
Chan immediately cleared his throat. "Sir, with respect, we do not allow our subs to be touched by another."
JYP, though clearly annoyed, haphazardly bowed and replied, "Of course, my mistake. Perhaps when you're finished with her-"
I.N interrupted, "We've decided that she will hold a permanent position as our sub."
The moment Lily fixed her gaze on the plate, she began to dig her nails into her thighs, sending waves of pain through her as the sharp points pierced the bruises that the flogger had left behind. She had to find some was to divert her anger, so adding pain to pain was her most available solution. Her eyes darkened, and the voices that surrounded her sounded muffled and distant. She remained locked in her position with her blood flowing like lava. She felt like a volcano was about the erupt inside her.
Chan and the others watched as JYP enter the private area, out of their sight before Chan wrapped his arm around Lily. "Babygirl, I'm so-" He furrowed his eyebrows and looked with confusion and concern. "Lily?" He lifted her face and looked into her eyes. "Lily, babygirl, are you ok?"
When she stared blankly in response, Chan quickly turned to Seungmin who was already getting up from his chair to check on her. "She's burning up, what's happening?"
The others were all beginning to lift from their chairs as the concern flooded over them.
Seungmin looked directly into her eyes and saw the emptiness in them. He sternly instructed, "Someone get the van now. We have to get her out of here. She's having a manic episode." Leeknow immediately flew out of the restaurant to the valet to get the van. He slipped him $100 to make as fast as possible, instructing him that it was an emergency.
The seven remaining boys flooded out just as the valet was pulling up. Chan carried Lily in the center, with the six others surrounding them. Leeknow opened the door to the van, then rushed to the driver's side as the others piled in. The door barely closed before the van tore out of the parking lot at a high rate of speed. Seungmin always kept a mild dissolvable sedative with him for emergency encounters, so he immediately slipped it under her tongue, and Chan cradled her.

Lily woke in the med bay in a panic. Seungmin was instantly by her side to assure her that she was ok. "Lily? Hey beautiful, you're ok. Breathe, baby."
After a brief moment, she became more alert to her surroundings and began to slowly relax. As brief, vague memories of the restaurant came back to her, she began to cry.
Seungmin sat beside her in the bed and wrapped her in a comforting embrace as she sobbed. "Wh-at ha-ppened? Chan said I couldn't- and then JYP-, I don't re-member. Sir, I'm s-so scared." His heart sank when he heard how she had addressed him. As horrible as it made him feel, it was helpful. He now knew a little more about what was happening in her mind.
Her sobs began to flow out of the med bay, into the conference room where the others anxiously waited as Seungmin had demanded. As soon as the sound met their ears, they were at their feet. Chan paced the room for a moment before he rushed to her.
Seungmin rocked her and spoke softly, "Everything is OK now, beautiful. You had an episode, but you're safe, and you're gonna be ok. When you're calm, I'll explain, but baby, I need you to-"
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Chan came in. His heart shattered when he saw her look away from him.
