"Just kill me and get it over with." Lia hissed as she glared at Lily.

Anger washed over Yeji. "That's all you have to say?" She snarled as she lifted from her seat. Lia looked away as Yeji walked to her. "I at least expected you to start with an apology."

Lia narrowed her eyes at Yeji. "I had to protect my family. I won't apologize for that."

"You betrayed the family that has been by your side for years to protect the family that has only caused you pain and heartache. You put our teams at risk when you could have easily told us what was happening so that we could help you. You were going to turn Lily over to-"

"That bitch is not a part of this family!" Lia interrupted angrily.

Lily's heart sank when she heard the words effortlessly roll off Lia's tongue. The group behind them grew angrier.

Suddenly, blood splattered through the air when Yeji's fist met Lia's face. "She became family the day our brothers took her into their home. How dare-"

Lia interrupted again, "Do you think they really wanted someone to babysit? She is nothing more than a fucking gold digging charity case-"

Yeji interrupted the statement with another blow to Lia's face.
Lily stepped back as she struggled to control her emotions. Her heart shattered with each harsh statement that left Lia's lips.

The other three members of Itzy stood in shock as tears rolled down their cheeks.

Yeji threw another punch, busting Lia's eye. "JK left your fate in our hands. I had hoped you would show some form of remorse. I'm sure we could have worked through this. However, that option is no longer on the table for you." Yeji turned to Lily and said, "Lily, my precious sister. She is yours to do with as you please. I have nothing more to say to her."

Lily stared for a moment, then slowly shook her head. "I can't-"

Yeji turned back to Lia. "Seems I have one more thing to say. It was so easy for you to hurt Lily- yet even after what you did- even after what you just said- she stands there hurting for you. She may not be able to make the decision, but I can."

Yeji punched Lia again before turning to JK. "I hereby relinquish all ties to Lia. I leave her fate in your hands."

JK nodded and recalled the guard who immediately came in and led her out of the room. Lily went back to her seat and stared blankly as the words she had heard replayed in her mind.

"JK, I still have things I'd like to discuss. However, would you mind excusing Itzy and my team for the night?" Chan asked after seeing the heavy expressions across the room.

JK nodded in approval and stood from his seat. "Little Quokka, I'd like for you to stay behind as well. The rest of you are dismissed."

Chan turned to the team, and instructed. "Remember, no discussions about tonight. Our home could be compromised. We'll be back soon and we'll sweep for bugs."

The group nodded and bowed to JK as they exited the room. Lily stopped in front of him and bowed again. "I appreciate your assistance, and I look forward to seeing you again. Please accept my apologies for my actions toward you earlier."

JK surprised Lily, Han, and Chan when he pulled Lily in for a tight hug. "Ms. Lily, I have enjoyed your company tonight. My sister was the only person who was never afraid to stand up to me the way you did." He released her from his embrace and looked into her eyes. "Keep that spark in you, Ms. Lily."

Lily smiled. "I will as long as you drop the 'Ms.' bullshit." She replied sarcastically with a playful wink.

JK laughed out and nodded his head. "Just like my fucking sister. A smartass bitch, she was- but she kept life fun. Welcome to the family, Lily. If any of these boys get out of hand with you, I'm a call away." He said as he narrowed his eyes.

Lily laughed, "Thank you, Uncle J. I'll keep that in mind. Don't keep my boys too long. Have a good night."

JK smiled at the title she used and bowed as he replied, "You have my word, Sparky. Goodnight."

Chan and Han chuckled at the unexpected interaction. Lily turned to them both and instructed, "Stay out of trouble. I love you both."

"Yes ma'am, I love you. We'll be home soon." Chan replied before pressing his lips to hers.

Han looked at her with slight sadness still in his eyes. "Please forgive me, my love. I-"

Lily threw her hand up to silence him, causing JK to double in laughter. "Your little arrangement kept your psycho uncle over here from killing me. You're forgiven this time, but if you ever keep a secret like that from me, again, I'll turn you into a pin cushion, you hear me?"

Lily's statement, along with the horrified looks on the boys faces had JK holding his sides as he breathlessly laughed.

Han rolled his eyes at his uncle before pulling Lily in for a hug. "I promise, my love. No more secrets. Now go home and sleep."

"And NOT alone. I want someone with you tonight." Chan added sternly.

"Yes, daaaddy." Lily replied sarcastically as she headed for the exit.

Chan clenched his jaw and shook his head.

"That girl is something special. Quokka, your mother would have been proud. Does she know about her?"

Han pursed his lips, "She doesn't know details, but I have spoken of her."

JK nodded and replied, "You can tell her when you give her the family heirloom."

Han's eyes widened, "Uncle J? I thought you gave that to Aunt Mi."

JK shook his head, "Your mother instructed me to pass it to you when I felt like you had found someone worthy enough to receive it. There's no doubt in my mind that Lily deserves to wear it."

Before Han could reply, JK looked to Chan, "Now- you had something more to discuss?"
