"Lily!" Chan shouted as he started to follow her.
"Let her go." Seungmin instructed, grabbing Chan's arm. "You know damn well she couldn't control that."
"He's right, Chan. Now, can you explain why you think she needs to be benched?" Leeknow added smuggly.
Chan snapped his head back, glaring at Leeknow. "Are you fucking serious? If he finds the information he's looking for, she's got a target on her back."
Hyunjin spoke up hesitantly, "That's 'if' he finds it. We could easily take him down on site at the meeting with the secretary."
"It's not that simple. It's peak time at the restaurant, so we can't take him down. We take one, we have to take all three. You know he has security. It would be a bloodbath amongst civilians, children included. This has to be planned out carefully!"
Leeknow stood angrily from his seat. "Then let her plan it, Chan! Who said she had to be in the field? She has planned some of our most flawless operations without stepping out of this house. Give her a fucking chance!"
Chan clenched his jaw and ran his hand through his hair before taking a deep breath. "Did you not see her reaction? What if this triggers her?" Chan hissed as his anger intensified.
"Chan, she had a healthy distressed response until you took control from her." Seungmin confidently instructed, locking eyes with Chan, not intimidated by his furious gaze.
Chan deadpanned the rest of the group, who sat silently processing their own feelings during the altercation. "Do the rest of you agree with them?" He questioned with hostility evident in his expression.
He shook his head and sighed in defeat when their replies told him he was alone in his opinions. "Fine. I'll go talk to her. Un-fucking-believable."
"You need to calm down first." Seungmin firmly instructed. "You're both too angry to be near each other right now."
"Fuck off Seungmin." Chan growled as he exited the room to find Lily.
After a brief, awkward silence, Changbin spoke up, trying to lighten the mood. "Fuck, between the two, who do you think is gonna come out crying first?"
"The room." Leeknow dryly stated as he walked toward the medbay. "Seungmin, I need painkillers. My head hurts."

Chan opened the door to her bedroom and stepped in. "Lily?" Chan called with aggrevation still obvious in his tone.
"Leave Chan. I don't want to talk to you right now." She hissed, glaring into his eyes.
Chan slammed the door behind him, ignoring her demand. "I thought I told you to change your fucking tone?" He shouted angrily, stepping toward her.
"And I thought I told you to leave! I'm not in the mood to hear anything you have to say!" She screamed, tears beginning to pool in her eyes.
"Lily sit the fuck down and shut up." He said, getting closer to her, aggressively pointing his finger at her. "I'm not doing this with you. If you don't calm the fuck down-"
"What, calm down or get punished? Don't worry. Your presence right now is punishment enough!" She scoffed, shooting daggers into his heart.
"Goddammit Lily, stop! Just fucking listen to me!
"Chan!" Seungmin yelled as he swung open the door. "This is exactly why I said to fucking wait! Take a shower and go to bed. The alcohol in your system isn't exactly helping you control your temper."
"Fine." He hissed as he stormed out of the room, slamming the door so hard, the canvas that depicted a beautiful pink lily, painted by Hyunjin fell from the wall and hit the floor.
"Seungmin, why the hell is he acting like this?" Lily cried as she threw herself into the bed.
"Come here, beautiful." Seungmin instructed as he sat on the bed next to her, holding out his arms. "Believe it or not, this is Chan, genuinely terrified. Baby, we all are."
"I have to finish this, Minnie. Don't let him take this away from me. Please." Lily desperately pleaded as she accepted his invitation.
"We're not. I promise. He's gonna let you lead the mission, but from here. Baby, you could potentially have a target on your back, so we need to keep you safe. Any time there has been a direct threat on any of our lives, we hide out until it's eliminated."
After a deep sigh, Lily replied, "I guess that's better than nothing. I know I can do this. I just wish he knew."
He pulled her deeper into his embrace and gently caressed her back. "He knows you can. Let him sleep on it. I'm sure he'll be easier to talk to in the morning."
After a few minutes of silence, Lily peeked up at Seungmin and asked, "Do you think the secretary knows it was me that killed Bobby?
Seungmin pursed his lips together. "I don't really know. Considering she was often in the calls we recorded back then, I'd say she may know more than we would like to admit."
Lily nodded her head before replying, "I figured that's the answer I'd get. Oh well. I took his brother down, I can take him too.
He kissed her forehead and softly suggested, "It's getting late, and we have a lot to do tomorrow. You need to get some sleep."
"Yea, I'm getting drowsy. Stay with me?" Lily asked as she stared at him with pleading eyes.
Seungmin smiled and laid back on the mattress with her. "I won't leave unless you tell me to."
