"She's probably gonna be waking up any minute. Is her breakfast almost ready?" Hyunjin asked anxiously.
Leeknow turned the stove off and scooped the eggs onto the plate. "It's ready. Felix, put the candle in the pancake."
"Where's the lighter? It was just here." Seungmin said, shuffling through the kitchen.
Chan came back from the garage with a bouquet of flowers, followed by I.N, who carried balloons.
"Got it!" Changbin exclaimed, holding the lighter in the air.
"Good. We need to hurry. Han just texted. She's waking up." Felix replied. "I told him we're about to head up." He added as he shoved his phone back in his pocket.
"Let's get this day started." Chan said with a smile stretching across his face.

"How'd you sleep, my love?" Han asked as he brushed the hair from Lily's face with his fingertips.
Lily slowly blinked, showing little emotion. "Fine. I'm going to the bathroom." She mumbled as she rolled over and slid off the bed.
Han furrowed his brows. "Baby, are you-" His question was interrupted by the sound of the bathroom door closing.
Han stared at the door, slightly puzzled before getting the notification from Felix. After reading it, he crawled out of the bed and quietly cracked open the door, waiting for the others.
"What's wrong?" Leeknow whispered, seeing the expression on Han's face.
Han glanced back at the bathroom door, then stepped further out the door. "I don't know. Something's definitely off. She barely said anything. No kiss. No smile. No nothing. Should we wait?"
"No. Stick with the plan. She may jus-" The toilet flushed, alerting them that she was about to come out.
Han quickly and quietly closed the door and went back to the bed as he listened to the water flow in the sink. After a couple of minutes, the water turned off, and the bathroom door opened.
"You ok, love?" Han asked as he held the blanket up for her to crawl under.
"Yea. I'm just- I think I wanna go back to sleep." She replied in an emotionless tone.
Han brought her close to him and kissed her forehead. Suddenly, the bedroom door flew open, and the seven others poured in singing the birthday song as they approached her with the breakfast tray, flowers, and balloons.
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she stared with her mouth hung open, covered by her hands.
They each found a place to settle on the bed as they finished the song.
Han rubbed circles on her back as Changbin reached out to wipe the tears from her cheek.
After the song ended, Felix held out the pancake with the lit candle. "Make a wish, sweetheart."
She closed her eyes, forcing out another tear. After a few moments of silence, she opened her eyes and blew out the candle, triggering an eruption of cheers and birthday wishes.
As the group settled, she shook her head in disbelief. "How did you even know?"
After a short chuckle, Chan replied, "It's our job to know. Now. Eat up, babygirl. We've got a full day of fun planned for you."
She wiped the remaining wetness from her cheeks before picking up her fork. "This looks just like a Waffle House breakfast." She shoved the bacon in her mouth and bit off a piece. "Oh my god, yes!" She moaned, closing her eyes and savoring the flavor.
Han laughed and asked, "Anyone else notice that she reacts to food the way she reacts to us?"
Ignoring the group's snickering, she scooped a combination of hash browns and eggs onto her fork and shoveled it into her mouth.
The men watched her with adoration as she ate. The laughter filled the room throughout her meal, quickly and effortlessly lifting Lily's mood.

"Not fair! Interference!" Han shouted after Lily's seductive gaze from the lane next to him effectively caused him to gutter the ball.
Hyunjin gave her a high five as he stepped up to take his turn against Seungmin.
"Seungmin, I'm divorcing you if you don't get a strike." Leeknow teasingly threatened, causing Lily to fold in laughter.
"Bitch, I'll roll it straight into the gutter." Seungmin replied, smirking as he shook his head.
Leeknow blew him a kiss, resulting in Seungmin's middle finger to fly into the air before rolling the ball down the lane.
Just before reaching the pins, the ball shifted, leaving two still standing.
Leeknow stared blankly and replied. "I hate you. I really do."
"It's ok! He still has a shot if Hyunjin fucks up." Felix said, clapping his hands in assurance.
"Ha!" Changbin shouted. "It's Hyunjin. He won't fuck up. Show em fake mom!"
Hyunjin threw his head back in laughter before bringing the ball to his chest.
Silence fell upon the group as they watched Hyunjin draw his arm back and sling the ball forward. When all ten pins scattered in the air, an eruption of cheers echoed behind him. While Lily, I.N, Changbin, and Chan leaped to Hyunjin for a celebratory hug, the others groaned and cussed at the winning team.
After the chaos settled, Chan checked his phone. He struggled to conceal his smile when he saw the message from Yeji. "Ok babygirl, if you're ready to go, we have a couple of things planned at home."
Lily beamed with excitement as she questioned, "More? We've gone shopping, had an expensive lunch, went to the arcade, and bowling. I think I've been spoiled enough."
"Not even close to enough, sweet girl." Leeknow replied with a wink. "You ready?"
Her smile spread across her face as she enthusiastically replied. "Let's go!"
