Chapter 55: Maniac

(A/N for those who read the previous group chat chapter, the destination was previously specified. However, I've changed it to fit the narrative. -'Dinosaur theme park' is now just 'theme park'-   Hope you're enjoying the story! I'm open to suggestions! "You want to ride that one? Lily. Sweet girl. Kitten. Why do you hate me?" Leeknow pleaded, looking up at what the advertisement describes as 'Jeju's Tallest Roller Coaster.'

Lily dramatically threw her hand over her chest as she teased, drawing out her words, "Surely, my fearless, dangerous boyfriend isn't scared of a little ole roller coaster?"

"Little my ass! Is your depth perception off?" He snarled, looking at her as if she was insane.

"Sweetheart, you just unveiled his greatest fear." Felix informed through his laughter.

Leeknow glared at Felix. Without looking away, he said in a menacing tone, "Hey Chan. Tell Lily about her other fearless, dangerous boyfriend passing out the last time we went to an amusement park."

Chan folded in laughter as Felix's laughter instantly stopped as he flashed his middle finger to Leeknow.

"Oh, that's right!" Seungmin added through his continuing chuckles. "The old man had to hold him up til the ride ended."

Lily teasingly pouted her lip. "My poor Lixie." She whined, pulling him in and petting his head.

"You little-" He scooped her up and threw her over his shoulder. "Let's go, Leeknow. Wanna bet she's more scared than us?"

"Ha! Fuck that shit! I'm not ever betting against her on anything!" Leeknow snapped as he shook his head.

Changbin followed the group toward the long line as he added, "Seriously dumbass, you're gonna bet against her as you're currently wearing the repercussions of the last wager?"

"Moron." I.N added in a breathy tone.

"Nah, she's gonna flip her shit. I guarantee it!" Felix confidently replied, dramatically swinging Lily from side to side as he walked.

"You're gonna make me puke before we even get on the ride!" Lily shouted as she smacked his ass.

Screams and laughter filled the air as the coaster glided across the track at a speed so intense, their heads and seats pulled together like magnets. With every loop, turn, and twist, Lily's laughter grew more intense. The others displayed mixed reactions. Some screamed, some laughed, some did both.

Suddenly, the cart stopped at the base of an incline. Lily looked around to see the faces of her boys. She laughed at the range of expressions. Leeknow had his eyes clamped shut heavily breathing as the cart slowly climbed its highest peak.

When her eyes met Felix's colorless face, she laughed even harder. "Are you gonna make it, Freckles?" Lily teased.

"You're a maniac! You're gonna kill me! I'm gonna die today!" He ranted in a panicked, breathless voice.

"Aww baby, I'm not gonna kill you- oh holy fuck!" She interrupted herself as the cart reached the top and paused. She could see everything. The cargo ship in the ocean miles away, the buildings, the roads, the cars, the rest of the amusement park. She saw everything- except the roller coaster track. It wasn't in front of her- the coaster included a 90° free fall.

Their chorus of panicked curses ended as soon as it began when they, without warning, dropped from the sky. As soon as they leveled out,  the ride came to an end.

They all stumbled off the ride, struggling to regain their composure. They found a rest area beside the rides exit, in which they immediately took advantage of. The group talked over each other, expressing their opinions of the ride. They all widened their eyes and stared stunned at Lily when she said, "Ok, I wanna go again!"

Felix dropped his jaw and shook his head. "As I said! Maniac!"

Not a single person in the group had a care in the world as the day went on. They made their way through the park, dancing, laughing, chasing each other, and soaking in every second of their time together. Their chaos, teasing and bickering seemed to be welcomed entertainment for themselves as well as onlookers while in between rides and activities.
Lily had more fun watching her boys act like children than she had on the rides. She would settle from one fit of laughter, only to be thrown into another.

"Leeknow! You keep slapping my boyfriends' asses, I'm gonna get jealous!" Lily shouted after Leeknow ran up behind Han and slapped his ass.

"Seriously! Go smack hers!" Han hissed while rubbing the pain out of his back side.

Leeknow stopped and said, "You're right, how horrible of me to make my girl jealous. Get over here!" He then took off after her, sending her weaving between the others, using them as a shield while screaming through her breathless laughter.

"Ha! You're on your own, darling!" I.N said as he side stepped, giving Leeknow access.

"Traitor!" She screamed as she dove behind Han. Suddenly she was scooped up by Changbin who never stopped running as he yelled, "The Princess is mine!"

"My love! I've failed you!" Han cried, dramatically dropping to his knees.

Leeknow caught up with Changbin and Lily. The six others folded in laughter as the two fought over Lily, flopping her back and forth.

"Look! Ice creeeaaam!!!" Lily screamed, pointing behind the two men. As soon as they turned, she made a break for it.

"Hey!" They shouted immediately feeling her escape from their grasp.

Hyunjin was the closest to her so she chose him as her shield. She ducked behind him trying to catch her breath. "Hop on angel, I got you!" Hyunjin said, positioning himself for her to hop on for a piggyback ride. As soon as she was secured, he spun in circles, making her laugh even harder. "Stop stop stop! Please!" She begged.

Chan, stood astonished at the chaotic scene in front of him. He had never seen the men act so playfully, and he was thoroughly enjoying it.

Suddenly, a voice came over the parks intercom system announcing that the park would be closing soon.

After an outburst of protests, they made their way to the exit, with Lily leading the way, laughing about the events of the day. "Who knew a colorful wardrobe would completely alter your personalities." Lily teased, spinning around to face them.

Chan smiled and confidently replied. "It wasn't the clothes, babygirl."
