Lily and Seungmin walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. He sat on the stool next to the counter as she grazed the refrigerator for ingredients to prepare supper.
"Bibimbap?" She asked, turning toward him with an arched brow and head slightly tilted.
He smiled and replied, "Sounds good to me. What can I do to help?"
She smiled and began pulling the vegetables from the fridge. "Just sit there and look gorgeous." She playfully answered.
He chuckled as a soft smile played on his lips. "Come here before you get started." He requested.
She placed the vegetables on the counter and did as she was asked. She stood between his legs and draped her arms over his shoulders.
He placed his hands on either side of her stomach and peppered kisses across her baby bump. "There. Just wanted to kiss our little girl." He said, peeking up at her and winking.
She flashed an adoring smile and kissed the top of his head. "I just love you." She hummed as she pulled away to return to the counter.
"And I just love you." He replied as she walked away. "You sure you don't want me to help?"
She picked up the knife and began chopping vegetables. "Actually- can you start the rice?"
He nodded as he hopped off the stool. "Of course, beautiful."
As they worked together to prepare dinner, Seungmin began singing one of her favorite songs, which she instantly joined.
Leeknow walked down the stairs, his hair still damp from his shower. He stepped behind Lily and wrapped his arms around her, caressing her stomach as he kissed her shoulder. "I missed my sweets." He whispered, not wanting to interfere with hers and Seungmin's flawless harmony.
She leaned against him and smiled as she sang the lyrics, "Singing til the end-" As Seungmin sang the final lines, she whispered back, "We missed you, too."
He smiled as he stepped to her side, picking up a knife and helping her cut the vegetables.
"Well, isn't this a picture-perfect moment." Hyunjin said as he stepped into the kitchen, holding his phone up to take a photo.
Lily rolled her eyes and giggled. "I swear, you could wallpaper this whole house with all the pictures you take."
Hyunjin laughed as he sat at the table. "I probably could."
Suddenly, Leeknow received a notification on his phone. He washed his hands and dried them before pulling out his phone and taking a seat at the table with Hyunjin.
Leeknow set the phone aside as he let out a heavy sigh. "They're on the way home." He said as Changbin and Felix entered the room.
"That was fast." Felix replied as he walked toward Lily. "Hey, sweetheart." He said as he placed one hand on her stomach and the other on her back.
"Hey, baby." She replied as she turned toward him, connecting her lips to his.
Changbin teasingly pulled her away from Felix. "My turn." He whined before wrapping his arms around her and squeezing her gently.
Felix gave a sarcastic smirk as he flipped him off.
Leeknow lounged back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest. "So, listen. Apparently, Chan is in a weird mood right now-"
Concern immediately washed over Lily. "What kind of weird mood?" She asked hesitantly.
Leeknow explained what Han had told him before saying, "Sweet girl, please. Don't let whoever is going on with him worry you. You're in too good of a mood. He'll be ok. This subject has always been a sensitive topic for him."
She nodded as she dumped the vegetables in the skillet. "I'm sure having to kill her was difficult, considering how close yall have been to Itzy all these years."
Seungmin pursed his lips together and nodded. "Just act normal when he gets here. Don't mention anything about it. And please don't take it personally if he's short with you for a few days. I kinda expect him to be distant until he works through this."

They were almost finished cooking when Chan, I.N, and Han got home. As soon as Chan walked in, their eyes widened. His shirt and hands were stained with Lia's blood, and his expression was cold and dark.
He walked past them without saying a word and made his way upstairs. Lily was prepared for anything but to be ignored. The calm and happy atmosphere was now thick and tense.
Han sighed as they watched Chan disappear at the top of the stairs. He looked back at Lily and softly smiled. "Give him time, love."
I.N immediately walked to Lily and cupped her cheek, placing a passionate kiss on her lips. "We'll be down in a bit. We're gonna go wash up." He said before kissing her forehead and heading upstairs.
"Don't take too long. Dinner is almost ready." She said in a disheartening tone.
Han pulled her into his embrace and kissed the top of her head. "We'll be quick."
After the two left the kitchen, she looked back at Leeknow, who appeared to be angry. He shook his head and got up from the table, following them upstairs.
He knocked on Chan's door as he entered the room. Chan let out a deep, exasperated breath. "Leeknow, not now."
Leeknow held his hands up in defense and replied, "I was just checking on you. Do you wanna talk about it?"
Chan shook his head. "No. I don't. Not now. Not ever."
Leeknow nodded in understanding. "That's fine. We can respect that. But- don't shut us out. Especially Lily. You didn't acknowledge her and even though she'll never say it, I could tell she was hurt."
Chan sighed and nodded his head. "I just didn't want her to see me like this. Just let me get washed up and I'll come down. Please tell her I'm ok."
Leeknow nodded and replied, "I'll tell her. Dinner's almost ready so don't take too long. Can I ask one thing?"
Chan clenched his jaw and asked with an irritated tone, "What?"
Leeknow flashed an evil smirk and asked, "Did it at least feel good? To get revenge?"
Chan returned his expression and replied, "Maybe a little too good."
