Lily wrote the last couple of sentences in her journal, then laid it on the couch beside her. After a few moments of blankly staring into space, she took a breath and began trailing through the house. Boredom was heavily consuming her, which had become an absent emotion for her recently. However, for the last three days, she had been banned from going downstairs while the boys practiced their songs and choreography. They decided to perform for Lily during their weekend trip to Jeju, which was only two days away.
She ventured aimlessly until she reached their private underground parking deck. She wandered around, gazing at the museum of vehicles surrounding her. Some for work, some for general use, and some for pleasure.
Her heart skipped when a tarped vehicle in the back corner caught her eye. The shape underneath the tarp made its make and model obvious to her. She clenched the tarp in her hands and slowly uncovered the vehicle to confirm her suspension. She gasped and beamed with excitement when she saw that it was her exact dream car. A 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, in the same color scheme she had grown accustomed to seeing associated with SKZ. A custom matte black coated the car, accented by black and ruby red interior.
She circled the car, gliding her fingers down the side. She opened the door to find the keys in the center console and couldn't resist her temptation. She sunk into the driver's seat and sighed as the leather bucket seats perfectly cradled her figure. She picked up the key and slowly slid it into the ignition and turned the switch. She expected to hear a heart thumping roar, only to be met with silence.
She popped the hood and fumbled around for a few minutes before discovering the problem. An idea quickly entered her mind. After a quick inventory of the tools available to her, she pulled out her phone.
The music blared through her ears, and she sang to the top of her lungs as she cruised into town in Hyunjin's luxury convertible. She began to think about how just a little over a month ago, she was living out of her old, rusted junk car, wearing worn clothes, and unable to remember a happy moment in her life. Now, she's wearing designer clothes, living in a mansion, driving her choice of luxury vehicle, and blissfully in love with eight men who ravished her in love and affection.
She arrived at the auto part store and explored the aisles for the necessary tools and parts. She immediately noticed the smug look of the man who stood behind the counter as she laid out her items.
He totaled her purchase, and as she swiped her card, he said mockingly, "Shouldn't you check your list, little lady? Your man might get mad if you forget something he needs."
Lily smiled and picked up her bags before shooting him a menacing glare. "Hm, is that your car out there?" She asked mischievously.
The man glanced out the window, then responded, "Yea, you want a ride?"
"You're leaking transmission fluid, and judging by the black dust on your rims, you need brakes- Have a nice day." She said, copying his smug tone. She winked, dropped her sunglasses over her eyes, and sashayed out the door, waving her middle finger behind her.

She set her bags next to the corvette, pulled out her phone to text the boys, letting them know she was home, and went to work under the hood, blaring music and singing just as she had always done when she was focused. She fumbled with wires and disassembled parts to repair and replace anything that was hindering the vehicle from operation.
After a couple of hours, she screwed the last nut into place and wiped the excess grease from her hands. She crawled into the driver's seat, took a deep breath, and held it as she turned the ignition. Suddenly, the load roar of the powerful engine filled the garage. She closed her eyes and rested her head against the back of the seat as the deep vibrations rumbled through her chest.
"Rev it up." A deep voice echoed, causing her to jump.
"God, Lixie, you scared me!" She shouted over the engine before honoring his request. She pumped the gas a couple of times before the other seven boys appeared. Each one had shocked expressions on their faces.
Chan slowly stepped forward, with an unreadable expression. Lily was starting to worry that she had upset him until he finally spoke. "You fixed his car."
Lily furrowed her brows at him in confusion. "His car? Who's car?" She asked as she stepped out.
Chan brushed his hand through his hair as a tear fell from his eye. "Babygirl, that's Woojin's car. It quit running right before he-"
Lily threw her hands over her mouth and widened her eyes. "Oh God, Channie, I'm so sorry! I should've asked befo-"
"No, baby girl! I've wanted to get it fixed but didn't trust anyone enough to touch it-" He trailed off as he sat in the driver's seat. He stared in disbelief as he wrapped his fists around the steering wheel, feeling the idle travel up his arms. "How?" He asked through his breath.
"I worked part-time as a mechanic for a while and took a couple of semesters in auto care. This just so happens to be my dream car." She replied as she wrapped her greasy arms around his neck.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, smiled at her, and replied, "You never cease to amaze me. Hop in babygirl. Let's take your car for a test drive."
The seven already stunned boys were even more shocked at what Chan had just said.
Lily fell back out of Chan's arms. "My car?"
Chan pulled her back into him. "There's no one more deserving to be behind the wheel of that car. He would have loved you, and I know he'd want you to have it."
