Leeknow walked into the bathroom, cradling Lily to his chest. He carefully stepped into the bath and slowly sank into the water, never loosening his grip. "Here we go, sweet girl. Does the water feel ok?"
Lily peeked her eyes up at him and sleepily nodded.
He smiled and softly kissed her forehead. "I'm so proud of you, my sweet girl." He whispered as he caressed her face. "I'm gonna bathe you now, ok?"
With one arm still cradling her, he used the other to reach for the soap. He gently glided it across her body, washing every inch of her skin. "I'm almost done, then you can sleep." He softly spoke to her as her eyes began to close. He quickly finished and lifted with her out of the tub. He very carefully patted her dry and applied pain cream to her bruised skin. He helped her into a loose hoodie and sweatpants, then gently picked her up, bridal style, and walked to her bed.
"Will you stay with me tonight?" She spoke in a soft, raspy voice.
"Of course I will." He replied as he gently lowered her onto the bed. He settled in beside her with his back against the headboard. She instantly laid her head across his stomach, causing a smile to engulf his face.
"How do you feel, Kitten?" he asked as he caressed her face with his fingertips.
Lily draped her arm across his leg. "I'm sore, but I feel amazing."
Leeknow chuckled. "You know that was a punishment. You weren't supposed to enjoy it so much."
Lily giggled, "Oops, I guess you'll just have to punish me for enjoying my punishment then."
"Ugh, Kitten, what am I gonna do with you?"
She giggled menacingly, then yawned.
"Go to sleep, sweet girl. I'll be right here when you wake up." He said as he continued caressing her face. Her body settled into a peaceful sleep. Leeknow, however, was still wide awake, so he picked up his phone from the nightstand where he had placed it before their bath. He read through the messages the boys had sent as he was caring for Lily downstairs. He decided to respond by taking a picture and sharing it with them.

Leeknow shut his phone off and laid it back on the nightstand. He stared at her face for a while and admired beauty. He wondered how this girl was able to make him feel the way he was feeling. He had tried relationships before, but he was never able to connect with them. However, this connection felt unbreakable. He smiled as he closed his eyes for the night.
