Chapter 84: Happy

"Oh- my- god!" Han exclaimed with a stunned expression as he watched the chaos unfolding.

Chan stepped in behind him and came to an immediate stop. "It's worse than I thought." He mumbled, mirroring Han's expression.

I.N turned the corner into the kitchen and spotted the two standing at the door. "Fucking finally! An actual adult! Do somethi-!" He didn't see Lily standing on the counter directly behind him, holding a bowl of cocoa powder and flour.

As soon as his plea escaped his lips, she flipped the bowl and dumped the mixture on top of his head, then dove off the counter, running as fast as she could. Her laughter echoed over the sounds of the other five men yelling in the background.

I.N stood frozen, with his mouth still open, even though his words had ended.

Chan and Han folded in laughter. They laughed so hard that they had to cling to each other for support. An eerie, malicious grin creeped across I.N's lips.

Suddenly, Chan and Han's laughter was interrupted when they felt eggs breaking and splattering across their bodies.

"You think it's funny?" I.N yelled as the eggs left his hands at a rapid pace, laughing hysterically as he watched the two fight to use each other as human shields.

Suddenly, Lily reappeared and ran behind Leeknow, who, with cat-like reflexes, whipped around and grabbed her. "I got her!" He shouted as she kicked her feet and pulled at his hands.

"No! Put me down! No!" She screamed through her laughter as Changbin approached her slowly, narrowing his eyes as a predator does its prey.

He pointed his finger at her and spun it in a circular motion. "You, little missy, are in deep shit." He taunted, just before ripping her from Leeknow's arms and tossing her over his shoulder.

"Felix! I got her!" He yelled as she squirmed and fought under his tight grasp.

"No! I'm sorry! Please!" She begged as her laughter became erratic.

"I don't think so, princess. You started this mess!" Changbin replied as he slapped Lily's ass, causing her to yelp.

"Lay her on the table and hold her down!" Felix shouted as he ran to the counter and picked up the can of whipped cream.

Changbin did as he was instructed and held her down on the table. He held one arm as Leeknow grabbed the other.

I.N realized she had been caught, so he dropped the eggs and ran to them to help hold her down. "Hold still, darling." He instructed in a dark, sadistic tone as he grabbed her leg.

Hyunjin grabbed her other leg and added with a devilish grin, "Oh angel, did you think your actions wouldn't have consequences?"

Lily writhed and screamed as Felix slowly approached with the whipped cream.

"No! I'll save you!" Seungmin screamed as he crawled out of a cabinet.

The sound of the spray can filled the air as Felix trailed the whipped cream all over her body, beginning with her face.

The scene unfolded so fast that Chan and Han didn't have time to process what was happening. They stood watching with their jaws dropped as the raw egg dripped down their faces and off their clothes.

"I can't get enough of her laugh." Chan said as he sprayed the cleaner onto the counter.

"She was having a blast. There's no way I would have actually stopped that." I.N chuckled as he swept the final pile of flour and cocoa powder into the dustpan.

Han shook his head as he laughed. "I still can't believe she faked being hurt to get away. That was fucking brilliant."

"That little brat is lucky I don't whip her ass for that. The way she screamed, I thought she broke her arm or something." Chan replied as he swiped the towel back and forth across the counter. He stopped suddenly and looked up with exasperated expression. "And I didn't get my damn brownies." He shook his head and chuckled. "Fuck it, she getting her ass whipped."

Leeknow stepped into the kitchen with water dripping from his hair unto his shoulder. "No, you're gonna leave my sweet girl alone. Did you see how happy she was?"

Chan smiled as he looked up with a joyous expression, "I'll never forget how happy she was tonight. She was fucking adorable running from you, giggling like a child."

I.N let out a breathy laugh. "You should have seen her before you got here. I've never heard her laugh so hard. I think Hyunjin recorded some of it before he got attacked by Seungmin."

Leeknow laughed as he nodded his head in agreement, "Yea, she was a sight, that's for sure. Is she still not out of the shower?"

"Not yet. With the amount of whipped cream she had in her hair, it may be a while." Han replied as he shook as head and smiled.

"I think Changbin is helping her with her hair." Felix said as he entered the kitchen. "Go take your showers, I'll finish up here. And hurry. You think she was happy with the food fight- Imagine her reaction when we tell her what we're doing."

"Did you enjoy yourself princess?" Changbin asked with a chuckle, seeing Lily's radiant expression through the reflection as he brushed the tangles from her wet hair.

Lily's smile stretched across her face as she nodded with excitement. "It cracks me up when yall act like kids."

"We'd act however you wanted us to if it meant we could hear that beautiful laugh of yours." He replied as he admired her reflection.

Lily's face blushed as she gazed back at him with glistening eyes. "Thank you." She replied, in a voice just barely over a whisper.

He furrowed his brows and slightly tilted his head. "For what, princess?"

Lily's gaze dropped to the hair tie that she was fiddling with in her hands. "Making me laugh. I don't remember ever actually laughing before I met yall. Never had a reason to."

Changbin reached for the hair tie and tied her hair back as he replied. "Lily, I may sound selfish right now, and I hope you don't take it the wrong way, because it angers me that you never experienced happiness before you came here. But in a way, I feel happy, because we're the ones who got to experience your personality come to life. I hope that makes sense."

Lily turned around and wrapped her arms around his waist as she rested her head on his abs. He immediately wrapped his arms around her and began rubbing her back. A sad but proud smile played on his lips when she replied, "I would relive it all again without hesitation, if it meant I ended up here with yall."
