Leeknow carefully sat Lily in the padded kitchen chair. Despite how careful he was, she still winced in pain, sending another wave of guilt over him. "I'm so sorry Lily." He repeated.

"Please stop. Can we just let it go please?" Lily requested as she grabbed Leeknow's hand.

He smiled at her and nodded. "As you wish. I'm going to make dinner. Can I get you anything?"

"Water please." She replied. As he walked to the refrigerator, she asked, "Where are the others?"

Chan sat in the chair across from Lily and replied, "I sent them to their rooms for the night-"

His explanation was interrupted by Lily's laughter. "I guess they forgot to say 'sir' too huh?"

Realizing the irony she had picked up in his statement, the four boys began laughing.

"I get spanked and they get sent to their room. How unfair." She jokingly pouted as she crossed her arms over her chest.

The laughter was so loud that Seungmin stepped out of his room to investigate.

When he walked into the kitchen, he was completely stunned to see the five of them laughing together.

Chan looked up and spotted Seungmin standing in the doorway.

"I'm sorry, I know you said to stay away from her but-"

Chan took Lily's hand "Are you comfortable with him being here? I've made it clear that you are to be left alone."

Lily smiled and nodded. "It's ok, they can all join us."

Seungmin smiled and rushed out to get the others.

Almost immediately, galloping was heard coming down the stairs. The four boys that had been locked away all surfaced in the kitchen. Lily was happy to see that like the others, their behaviors were completely different than what she had been experiencing. They were no longer dark and scary. They were funny and kind.

Throughout dinner, the pain she was feeling from the earlier events had been overshadowed with the pain from laughter. She had never experienced that before. She never had a reason to laugh, and suddenly she couldn't stop. The eight men couldn't get enough of the sound flowing from her vocal cords. In between her fits laughter, Leeknow would feed her bites of food to make sure she was eating enough.

For a little while, she had forgotten how she got there, until I.N spoke up. "Can someone please explain to me what is going on?"

And thick silence fell over the group before Chan spoke up. "Innie, can we talk abo-"

"No, they need to know, right?" Lily interrupted with confidence.

Chan nodded and began to explain the situation in it's entirety. "JYP called me a couple of days ago and informed me that he had hired a sub from a new agency. He said she was fully trained and she had willingly signed our contract. Apparently Lily was kidnapped and forced here without any knowledge of a contract."

"You were fucking kidnapped?" Seungmin snapped in disbelief.

Lily dropped her head. "He told me that I was not to speak to you or look at you and he'd kill me if I didn't meet expectations. That's all I was told before he gave me to yall."

Changbin took a moment to process the information before speaking up, "So that means Park was in on it. How are we supposed to deal with this?"

"I don't know yet. He has the power to destroy us so I have to think about this carefully." Chan replied.

"Does he have to know you know?" Lily replied, puzzling everyone.

Leeknow sighed, "Unfortunately it's not that simple. He'd notice if you were gone so if we sent you home, there's no telling what would happen. To you or us."

Without thinking, she made a suggestion that left the room silent. "Then don't send me home. Keep me here."

Hyunjin, who had been stewing in his own guilt, finally broke the silence. "How can you just agree to that? After what happened to you? After what some of us have done to you? How could you just be ok with that?"

Lily stared into his teary eyes. "Hyunjin? That's your name?" He softly nodded at her. "Hyunjin, I was working 3 jobs and living out of my car 4 days ago. I have no family. I have no friends. I have nothing but a lifetime of miserable memories. I have nothing to go back to. Yes, our first encounter was less than desirable but I'm sure, that none of you would have behaved that way had you known the truth. Please, just let me help you."

No one knew what to say in response to that. They were all in disbelief. Hyunjin stared at her with an unreadable expression. He seemed as though he had so much to say, yet the only words that would form was, "I am so sorry for whatever you went through that made you feel that any of this is acceptable. How could you just be ok after any of this?"

A tear fell down Lily's cheek. "I'm far from ok. I haven't been ok since I was a child. I'm just used to not being ok."

The silence that flooded the room was deafening. Hyunjin shook his head with his jaw slightly dropped as he looked looked away. The emotions that had filled the room became too much.

Lily turned to Leeknow, "I think I'm ready to go to bed now."

Leeknow softly smiled in response. He lifted her out of her chair and carried her to her room. As he tucked her in, his eyes met hers.

"Lily, I know you're not ok right now. But I promise, you will be. We'll all make sure of it."
