"Babygirl, what do you keep giggling at?" Chan asked with amusement.

"Lixie can't keep his hand down when he's recording. It's so cute." She replied as she mimicked the actions that made her giggle.

"Crazy babygirl." Chan chuckled as he reached for the red button. "Hey Lixie, this crazy lady in here thinks you're cute. Cute. Cute. Cute." He repeated in a high-pitched voice.

Felix chuckled and replied in a nasal tone, "So cute."

As he recorded his parts, Lily became increasingly awestruck by his deep voice. She also found herself amused at how picky Chan was about pronunciation.

Chan pushed the button and said, "Do you reckon we can do the 'tossing' a little- 'ohss?'"

Lily laughed out again, grabbing Chan's attention. "Reckon?" She repeated teasingly. "Is my way of speaking rubbing off on you, Channie?"

"Grrr-" He playfully growled, squeezing her thigh.

Lily laughed as she slapped his hand. "Can you tell him to make us a bit softer also?"

After Felix recorded the part in a  softer tone, Lily nodded in satisfaction.

"That was perfect. You can go work on choreo, now." Chan stated.

Felix walked out of the booth and immediately leaned down and  wrapped his arms around Lily from behind. "I'll see you in a bit, sweetheart." He said before peppering playful kisses across her face, earning soft giggles in return.

"Send Han in." Chan instructed as Felix exited the room.

"Where do you wanna start?" Chan asked, looking at his notes.

As Han pulled up the lyrics on his phone, he replied, "I don't know. Aaahhhhh."

Suddenly, Chan lifted from his seat and aligned his mouth directly in front of the mic that was used to communicate through the soundproof glass. "Aaahhhhhhhh!!!" He yelled, causing Han to jump and rip off his headphones.

Lily doubled over in laughter at the unexpected prank.

Within a few minutes, Han was rapping his part. As he finished, Chan held the button as he looked to Lily. With a tone of satisfaction,  he stated. "I have nothing to say."

Han approached the glass and smuggly bragged, "You see that! This is hiphop!"

As Han continued to brag on himself, Chan approached the mic and repeated his prank from earlier, shouting as loud as he could. Han jumped and dropped to the floor, yelling and grabbing his ear.

Lily almost fell out of her chair in laughter, as she did during most of Han's session. He would stumble over words, or sing the wrong note, and make jokes or critique himself before Chan had a chance to say anything.

As each person cycled in and out to record their parts, she grew increasingly excited watching each one display a different, unseen side of them.

Chan looked over at Lily, who was once again, red faced as she watched Hyunjin, who was the last to record. He chuckled and shook his head. "I think you're enjoying this a little too much. Each one of us has successfully turned you on from that booth."

"And?" Lily replied teasingly. "Do you see him in there rubbing his mouth against that mic? Ahh, he's driving me crazy!"

She didn't realize that Chan had his hand pressing against the red button, allowing Hyunjin to hear her as he menacingly grinned at her.

Hyunjin smirked and rolled his tongue over his lip. "Mmm, is my angel getting jealous?"

"Chan!" She screamed as she realized what he had done, earning a devilish giggle from the two.

After Hyunjin sang his last line, Chan said, "I like it a lot. Alright, that's all." He then looked to Lily. "Are you ready, babygirl?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." She replied confidently as she walking into the booth.

Hyunjin, helped her put the headphones on and gave her a short, yet passionate kiss. "Didn't want you to be jealous." He smirked as he strutted out of the room, earning a slap on the ass from Lily.

Chan shook his head in amusement then hit the button. "Say when, babygirl."

She nodded and replied, "I'm ready." The music began playing and she stepped to the mic, taking a deep breath. She closed her eyes and allowed the melody to guide her as she sang, "Look back, the ashes prove my passion always burns eternally. No regrets, I love this feeling down on this road, call it the Social Path."

Her body language perfectly displayed the conviction and power of the lyrics that flowed from her lips.

The music stopped and she opened her eyes to see that everyone had slipped into the studio, and was staring back at her through the glass with proud and adoring smiles.

"Absolutely perfect! That's our girl!" Chan praised. "Let's do the next part, yea?"

Lily nodded with a cheerful grin and stepped back into place. She concluded the recording of the song. The presence of her family standing there cheering her on gave her a feeling that she knew she would never grow tire of.

Yeji stood by the laptop, as the boys got into their position. Lily stood to the side and waited anxiously to see the choreography that the group had decided should be a surprise.

"On your part, just sing to the camera like you sang in the booth." Han instructed, giving her a flirtatious wink, then gave Yeji the signal to start.

Yeji lifted the camera in position and began the recording with, "This is Social Path by Stray Kids ft. Lily!"

When the music began, Yeji moved the camera around capturing different angles of the performance. Lily was amused at how they each performed into the camera so effortlessly. She used the same technique when it was her turn in the spotlight.

They each watched proudly as the video played on the big screen TV in the living room. "Yall seriously could be professional idols!" Lily exclaimed as she gazed at the screen.

The members chuckled at her excitement. "Maybe in another universe." Han replied as he brushed his fingers through her hair.

"Thank you for recording it, sis." Hyunjin said to Yeji who was proudly admiring her own camera skills.

"You're welcome! I sent it to the Ateez and ITZY group chats." Yeji replied with a cheeky smile.

"Of course you did." Chan replied through a quick, breathy laugh.

Changbin shook his head and whined, "Wooyoung is never gonna let me live this down."

Lily laughed and threw herself back against the couch. "Oh well. This has been the best day ever."
