Chapter 18: Let's Get Started

"This better be good." Hyunjin snarled as he took a seat at the conference table, joining the majority of the group. Leeknow and Lily we the last to trail in. "Good morning, my gorgeous men." She chirped as she took her seat. "Ahhh-fuck!" She hissed and arched her body out of the chair, forgetting how badly bruised and sore she was from the night before.

"Rough night, my love?" Han asked with a sarcastic tone.

Lily flushed with embarrassment when she realized everyone knew what had happened and was snickering at her. "I.N, my dear, didn't you have something to show us?" She said, trying to redirect the attention from her.

I.N shook his head and chuckled as he began typing. "Yea, Han, go ahead while I get this up."

Han nodded, "Ok, so yesterday, at the mall, during my encounter with the secretary, I was able to plant a tracker and a bug in her phone. Luckily, we managed to get it done just in time.

An audio file appeared on the wall monitor.

Leader Jay: We'll be arriving Thursday night. Flight lands at 6:15.

Secretary: How many will you be bringing back with you?

Leader Jay: Two. Make sure the cells are ready and the arrangements have been made.

Secretary: Yes sir, I'll take care of it.

Han continued as I.N went back to working at the computer. "So this gives us three days to prep for the mission. Getting through the building should be easier than usual since I got her key card also."

Lily furrowed her brows at Han. "You did all that in that short amount of time?"

Han looked back at her and winked. "I'll teach you one day."

Hyunjin glared at the two, "Over my dead body."

Chan spoke up, interrupting the bickering. "We can discuss that later. Right now, we need to focus on this mission. We don't have much prep time."

"I.N is hacking into government files for official blueprints and property surveys. Once we have those, we'll meet back here to discuss the final plans."

Chan stood from his chair. "In the meantime, hit the range. Hit the gym. Check weapons. You all know the drill. Keep your phones on you at all times. Lily, Seungmin has yours. You'll be with him the next few days. He'll walk you through communications and surveillance protocols. He runs communications from home during missions and you'll be assisting him." Chan clapped his hands together and asked, "If no one has questions, let's get started."

Chan walked over to Lily as everyone else spread out to their destinations. He rested his hands on her hips, and pulled her close to him. "I hear you had a fun night." He said as he chuckled menacingly.

Lily's face flushed with embarrassment. She playfully rolled her eyes and slapped Chan's chest.

Chan narrowed his eyes at her. "You and your eye rolling, babygirl-"

Leeknow who had been standing at the weapons display not far from them, heard Chan's statement and walked to them glaring at Lily as he said in a low voice. "Already rolling those eyes again, Kitten? I should've known you didn't learn your lesson."

Before she could react, Leeknow drew back his hand, and slapped her ass as hard as he could, causing her to scream out and latch onto Chan's arms. After she got over the shock of the sting, she took a deep breath and stabilized herself. Chan chuckled with amusement as Leeknow casually kept walking. When she looked up, Chan immediately saw her eyes had filled with lust. "You really are a brat. Do you know that?" He stated confidently as he wrapped his arms around and gently squeezed. He kissed her temple that turned her toward Seungmin, who was sitting at the computer, and said, "Now go to work before you get yourself in trouble again." He playfully shoved her in Seungmin's direction and headed toward his office.

Seungmin looked up at the from his computer and smiled. "Hey beautiful, have a seat."

Lily sheepishly grinned and eased into the office chair next to him. "Thank God this is padded."

Seungmin shook his head and smirked as he handed a phone to Lily. "This is yours. It's already programmed and ready. And I've added you to the SKZ chat. That's are primary communications so keep it on you."

Lily opened the chat and laughed. "So yall are now calling Leeknow the cat tamer because of me! This is great!"

"Yea, until he takes it out on your ass." Seungmin replied sarcastically.

Lily shrugged and asked, "So what are we doing today?"

"Well, we've got the boring job. The bug and tracker that Han planted feeds through here. We monitor for any suspicious activity or useful information." Seungmin answered as he showed her the information being shown on the screen.

Lily arched her brows and replied, "Sounds like loads of fun."

As the time passed, Seungmin gave her tips on what to listen for and gave her lessons on how to operate their computer system. After what seemed like hours, an incoming call notification came across their screen. They both immediately lifted the headsets from around their neck and placed them over their ears. Seungmin pressed a button to record the conversation.

Male: Did Jay inform you that I would be returning with them Thursday?

Secretary: He didn't but I'll have everything ready for you. How long will you be with us?

Lily's expression during the call caught Seungmin's attention. "What is it, Lily?"

Lily look shook her head as she pressed the headphones closer to her ear. "His voice. It's so familiar."

Male: Just a week. I have a few things to settle, then I'm flying back to the States.

Secretary: Sounds good. See you soon, Bobby.

Lily's eyes widened and her blood ran cold. She yanked the headset off and whispered in disbelief. "It can't be."

Seungmin placed his hand on her shoulder, "Lily, what's wrong?"

Lily shook her head. "The guy on the call. His voice is voice was so familiar. And his name- I wish I could see his face."

Seungmin spun his chair and rolled to the computer behind them. He clicked through computer folders, then typed a few things. Suddenly, a file appeared on the screen that looked exactly like the one she had seen for the secretary.

"Tell me if you recognize anyone." Seungmin instructed as he clicked through each individual files.

"That's the guy that was with JYP before he brought me here." She said, pointing to the screen.

"He's IKON'S leader. Kim JinHwan. He goes by 'Jay.'" Seungmin explained. He clicked through a couple of other files before Lily screamed, "Oh my fucking God, him! He's the owner of the cafe I worked at! I was taken from the truckstop next to the cafe. Seungmin! What the fuck!"
