"I'm going to work from home today Princess," Dylan informed me.

I smiled at her happy to know she'd be close by since I was still trying to get used to Monica being gone. I sat in bed while I watched her put on a polo to go with her jeans. Casual wear something nice enough to do video calls but not dressed up in a suit like she usually wore when she went to work. 

"Don't forget you're going to go back to doing the housework starting today."

I groaned and laid my head back down on my pillow. "Ugh, stupid Monica add that to the list of reasons I'm mad at her."

I knew Dylan had mentioned that I would be starting back doing chores but I was really hoping she'd forget. 

"You can't add that to the list,  Princess. Those chores were always your responsibility. I gave them to Monica as a task to keep her busy while she was on suspension. She was always going to return back to work this was only temporary. You know that," Dylan responded.

Technically that was true. I knew it, she knew it, Mr. Clean knew it. But I'm still not happy.  I hate doing housework. It's so tedious and exhausting and stupid. Like why can't we just eat off paper plates and plastic all the time? Who needs clean underwear? Just buy a new pack. Ugh!

"I hear you speaking all truths, but I still don't like it, Master," I said pouting.

She chuckled at my response, "I'm fine with you not liking it as long as you do them. Don't forget this is something you told me you wanted. You wanted to be more responsible and be able to do your part because you're home most of the time. You wanted to do this out of respect for our relationship."

I groaned at her reminder. Yes, it was true back then I was living with her and not contributing anything to this relationship, the bills, or this household. I allowed Dylan to take care of me financially as well as all the cooking and cleaning. I would fuss and complain anytime I had to lift a finger. I hated that about me so when our dynamics changed I asked her to help me be a better partner for her. But now I'm trying to fight Trinity of the past cause she sucks big ones!

"See I hear more truths in your statement, but the way I hate laundry makes it not make sense," I whined. 

She walked over towards me and took in my energy. "Do you need me to give you a spanking, Princess?"

My eyes got big at her suggestion and I pulled the blanket over my head to hide from her. "N-No, Thank you, Master."

I knew better than to agree to that. I wasn't just going to take a random spanking without cause.

She remained standing over me, "I think it'll be good for you Princess, it'll help put you back in the proper mindset to take care of your responsibilities."

I shook my head under the cover not wanting to give in to her suggestion. "I, I'm sorry I was complaining. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry please I don't want a spanking Master, I'm gonna do it I was just kidding. Please I haven't even done anything wrong yet."

She sat on the bed next to me and pulled down the blanket so I could look at her. "I'm well aware of that Princess. But you haven't had to take care of these responsibilities for a long time and you have fallen out of the mindset that it's your duty. I'm only offering to help you accept your role so that you're not angry all day while you're doing it," her voice was calm and she was being really patient with me. Which made what she said feel even worse. 

I shook my head no again.  

"A spanking doesn't have to be a punishment, Princess. It can be your reminder of your obedience and submission to me. Motivation to get you going so that you're not so upset and frustrated. You're resisting your chores because you forgot why it's necessary. Why you want the responsibilities in the first place. To help build our connection and prove to me how much you respected and appreciated me for how hard I worked for us. I'm offering this to help you not punish you. It is entirely up to you. If you think you can take care of your responsibilities and keep your temper in check then I'm fine with it."
