Chapter 296: Home, Sweet, Home

Chuckling slightly at Illumia's reluctance to remove herself from my lap, I turned to look at my two servants, who were both behaving rather intimately, passionately kissing while groping each other's breasts, a sight that I wouldn't mind watching, but right now wasn't the time, though, at the same time, I didn't want to interrupt the two of them as I was curious how far those two would go with each other.

"Illumia, if you could." Asked Elif lightly as he gestured to Marley and Idonea, causing Illumia to nod before waving her hand in their direction, causing them to vanish.

Sensing them appear within another empty room, I kept my divine sense on them to enjoy the show before I fixed my appearance and summoned Ember from my dimension ring, causing her to suddenly appear sitting on my lap while holding Hokori.

"Eh, where am I?" Muttered Ember in surprise as she raised her head and observed her surroundings, only to tilt her head upwards, spotting Elif, who merely raised his eyebrow.

"I will say you're quite nosy, Ember; searching through this Prince's dimension ring is a rather bold thing to do, not to mention holding Hokori." Said Elif calmly as he looked down at Ember, who deeply blushed before quickly removing herself from his lap, causing Hokori's hilt to nearly hit him in the face.

"I-I-I'm d-deeply s-sorry!" Stated Ember apologetically as she deeply bowed to Elif, causing him to hum quietly while resting Hokori on his lap.

"Since you did help me, I'll accept your apology, though next time, ask before you snoop around my belongings." Remarked Elif lightly with a nod as he gently waved his hand, storing Hokori in his dimension ring while creating a gust of Qi, forcing Ember upright.

"Anyways, speaking of you helping me, I think we should discuss your reward. Now, don't be modest; you had warned me and my little sister; go ahead and ask whatever your heart desires; as the Crown Prince, there are very few things I can't acquire for you." Added Elif with a faint smirk as he looked at Ember while his voice slowly became more seductive, filling her mind with naughty desires as she stared at him.

"It's not nice to tease her, your Highness." Said Illumia as she looked at the blushing Ember before glancing at Elif, who merely chuckled before blowing her kiss, causing her to sigh.

Fortunately for Ember, she somehow managed to resist my teasing and didn't fall for the obvious bait, which was fine since, depending on what she had asked for, I would've done it for free; however, seeing as she was deeply pondering about what to ask of me, I patiently waited and used this chance to inspect my body more deeply since I wasn't given a chance to do so before.

'Hmm, still, this inexplicable connection to who knows where is slightly confusing; am I perhaps now connected to the cycle of rebirth?' Mused Elif with a curious yet confused expression as he inspected his faint connection, only to open his eyes when he heard a childish voice.

"Um, P-Prince Elif, I-I've decided what reward I'd like." Asked Ember softly as she looked at Elif, who gave her a curious gaze while nodding.

"I-If possible, I'd like to be given the chance to become one of your followers." Stated Ember, taking a deep breath while speaking firmly, uttering her every word with the utmost conviction as she stared into Elif's eyes, causing him to faintly smile.

"Ho, only the chance? Why not ask to directly become my follower?" Asked Elif with a raised eyebrow, only for Ember to shake her head in response.

"I-I don't want to be a nuisance to you, Prince Elif; I-I want to help, I want to be of use. I don't want to be one of your followers just because I can; I-I want to earn it; I want to know I'm not just lucky; I want to proudly say I'm Prince Elif's follower without bringing shame and humiliation to your name." Declared Ember hesitantly as she looked down at her hands before eventually raising her head and looking at Elif, who nodded in understanding.
