"Hehehe, a-are you o-okay, Brother?" Asked Elaine in concern while suppressing her laughter, which still managed to escape her lips.

Raising my head, I turned and glanced at Elaine, who was obviously trying her hardest not to laugh at my unfortunate circumstance, which only served to annoy me.

"What do you think, Elaine?" Replied Elif with a twitched expression as he eyed Elaine, whose shadowy veil increased in density, completely shrouding her figure.

Elaine didn't respond, and thanks to her thick veil of the void concealing her, I couldn't gaze at her expressions to guess what she was thinking, though the constant trembling of her body was more than enough for me to know she was laughing.

"Hmph, if you're going to laugh, Elaine, don't try to hide it; that is more disrespectful." Remarked Elif with a grunt as he narrowed his eyes at Elaine, who raised her head, glancing at him.

"I-I d-don't know hehe, w-what you're talking hehe, a-about, Brother." Said Elaine softly, struggling to speak while suppressing her laughter as she quickly lowered her head once again, causing Eif's expression to constantly twitch in annoyance.

Grumbling under my breath at how annoying Elaine was being, I folded my arms and glanced downwards at my body, which was entirely covered with bodily fluids and chunks of flesh from when the Ancestor exploded; I had momentarily forgotten about that little aspect when I killed him, and I was forced to pay the price. Thankfully, it really wasn't too bad since I had a thin layer of Qi coating my body, though the smell was atrocious, and it was far too close to my body to begin with.

Hearing a slight chuckle, I lifted my head and gazed at Elaine, who was still laughing at me, causing me to click my tongue, only for my eyes to widen slightly as I had just formulated a fantastic plan.

"Elaine, I'm feeling a little lonely. Would you care to uplift my spirits with a hug?" Asked Elif with a sinister smirk as he spread his arms while approaching Elaine, who suddenly stopped laughing and backed away.

"O-Of course, Brother, j-just clean yourself first." Replied Elaine faintly with a nod as she slowly backed away while looking at Elif, who tilted his head in confusion while increasing his speed.

"Hmm? But I'm more than clean, Elaine. Please come here; I'm feeling very sad; only a hug from my dear sister can cheer me up." Remarked Elif with a sad smile, one that nearly tricked Elaine though his wicked expression was something she didn't fail to miss.

"B-Brother, b-back away! B-Brother!" Yelled Elaine anxiously as she glanced at Elif, who rapidly approached her, causing her to turn around before dashing into the forest.

"Hehehe, run all you want, Elaine! I'll catch up with you eventually!" Declared Elif with a sinister smile as he speedily followed after Elaine, the two rapidly moving through the inner section of the forest.

Walking aimlessly through the forest, I hummed one of my favorite songs while Elaine followed me from behind, and she looked less than pleased... Matter of fact, she looked like she wanted to kill someone.

"Elain-" Said Elif with a faint smirk as he turned and glanced at Elaine, only to narrowly dodge a small golden palm.

Although I dodged Elaine's attack, I was internally sweating as I was confident that it would've left me with a bloody nose if I hadn't evaded it; it seemed someone was more than just a little upset.

'Maybe I shouldn't have rubbed it all over her body?' Thought Elif with a raised eyebrow as he glanced at Elaine, who stared daggers at him, only to shake his head while smirking.

'Hehe, no, I regret nothing!' Mused Elif as he flashed Elaine a grin, causing her to gnash her teeth angrily.

As much fun as it was to enjoy getting my revenge, I never liked it when Elaine was mad at me, but I wasn't quite yet satisfied with my revenge, so I enjoyed it for a few more minutes before I eventually decided to apologize.
