Thanks to Kizen for informing everyone that I now had access to the sacred ground of the Realm Sect whenever they opened; a massive target formed on my back, which I found to be highly annoying. I wasn't concerned about anyone powerful coming for me; I was the strongest one here, but there would, without a doubt, be many annoying pests who would try and test their luck; of course, they would fail.
However, this could not only interrupt my daily life, but it could also put Elaine in danger if anyone wished to try and blackmail me; still, I wasn't too worried about that either. Elaine wasn't weak by any means, and the only people I'd be worried about her confronting were Tiamat, Cordelia, Comet, Aurora, and Lucifer; with every other cultivator, I was confident she could hold her own.
Clicking my tongue in annoyance, I glanced at Kizen, who seemed to have a few more things to say regarding the little trial we had just been put through.
"Also, during those seven days, I'm sure some of you must've noticed something unnatural when you killed your fellow disciples, and well, since this was merely the first trial, we prevented any deaths from happening." Stated Kizen calmly as he glanced at everyone before waving his hand, causing a few thousand cultivators to suddenly appear within the massive crowd.
"W-What!?" Exclaimed Elaine furiously with widened eyes as she glared at Kizen floating in the sky, causing him to nod amidst the loud crowd.
"Not only that, but those who have been killed will receive double their intended cultivation resources for two years." Declared Kizen with a faint smirk, his words causing the unfortunate ones who were killed to smile in joy.
"However, I'd like to point out that this will only happen once; from now on, dying will be final. Do not expect you'll be saved." Added Kizen firmly as he narrowed his eyes, gazing at nearly every single disciple of the Realm Sect.
"Excuse me, Elder Kizen; one of my followers was killed, but I don't see them anywhere." Said Diana, Princes of the Amazonian Clan, respectfully as she gazed at Kizen, who nodded before waving his hand, causing the corpse of an Amazonian to appear in front of her.
"Unfortunately, there were a few unlucky disciples killed in unique ways, which prevented anyone from saving them." Said Kizen lightly as he glanced at Diana, who bit her lip before sighing and waving her hand, causing the Amazonian corpse to be stored within her dimension ring.
"Well, that is everything, so I will be on my way, though do be warned, the next trial won't be so easy." Remarked Kizen calmly as he gazed at the disciples before vanishing from the sky, his figure nowhere to be seen
With Kizen leaving, everyone else started to leave as well, most likely returning to their residence or whatnot, though while I soothed Elaine, I sensed a few familiar people approaching me.
"Congratulations on achieving first place, Prince Elif." Said Eyvor with a lovely smile as she looked at Elif, who nodded before winking at her.
"Though, now you've got a target on your back because of your reward." Remarked Birger lightly with a faint smirk as he folded his arms and looked at Elif while taking several glances at Sarah.
"What's wrong with that? That'll just give him more people to fight; that sounds like a win-win to me." Asked Goliath with a tilt of his head as he glanced at Birger before shifting his focus to Elif, who simply rolled his eyes.
"Everyone isn't like you, Goliath; if you haven't noticed by now, Prince Elif isn't the biggest fan of fighting." Said Shelia as she glanced at Goliath, who hesitantly nodded with a confused expression, causing her to slowly shake her head while sighing.
"Speaking of fighting, that trial was pretty unique; I wasn't expecting there to be a twist like that. I really wonder what they'll have in store for us next time." Remarked Echo with a slight smile and a curious expression as she rubbed her six hands, eager to experience what the Realm Sect had prepared next.
