Chapter 323: Attendant Orlin

Knowing that Aurora and Cordelia had left their territory and were heading towards the Realm sect, I was somewhat excited as I couldn't wait to meet those two, especially Cordelia; I had put in all that work with Suscila to get information out of her.

'Urgh, speaking of Suscila, she is probably accompanying Cordelia as well; tsk, unfortunate, but oh well, not much I can do about that.' Mused Elif lightly as he sat down on his throne while Sarah sat on his lap, resting her head against his chest.

"What are you thinking about, Elif?" Asked Sarah curiously as she looked at Elif, who adorned a thoughtful expression, causing him to glance at her.

"Just Aurora and Cordelia; according to my sources, they should be arriving at the Realm Sect within a matter of days, and I'm somewhat interested in meeting." Replied Elif softly as he glanced at Sarah before propping his arm on his armrest while resting his chin on his hand, causing her to smile slightly.

"Ah, that's good to hear, Elif; it's been nearly a year, yet you've been so bored this entire time; maybe you'll finally start having something entertaining to do." Remarked Sarah with a smile as she looked at Elif, who raised an eyebrow before nodding while faintly chuckling.

"Hehe, I hope so too; cultivating and spending time with my concubines can be fun, but I desire something interesting and entertaining." Said Elif with a faint smirk as he gently rubbed Sarah's stomach while glancing at the ceiling, causing her to laugh quietly.

"So, you're saying we're boring, Elif?" Asked Illumia calmly as she narrowed her eyes at Elif while standing behind him, massaging his shoulders.

Rolling my eyes at Illumia blatantly trying to spin the truth, I blew her a kiss before promptly ignoring her, which seemed to work as she stayed silent and continued to massage my shoulders, though I noticed she was using a bit more force than before.

For the next couple of minutes, I silently pondered about the near future while basking in the love from Sarah, who was kissing my neck, though before she could further spice things up, I suddenly sensed a divine sense enter my mind, causing me to frown as I warded myself against the sudden invasion.

'You know it's rude to suddenly force your way into someone's mind, right?' Asked Elif with a deep frown as he closed his eyes and spoke to the intruder, his words eliciting a deep laugh to resound throughout his mind.

'Hahaha, that is rather rich coming from you, Prince Elif; it's also very rude to ignore my summons; after all, I am the Sect Master of the Sect you're currently a part of.' Remarked Sect Master Charuli in a deep voice as he practically eyed Elif with his divine sense, surprising him.

'Eh, Sect Master Charuli? Hmm, well, to be fair, Elder Axzul had informed me nearly a year ago and didn't explain where I could find you. I quickly forgot about it afterward and got caught up in my cultivation. I apologize for being a good, or I should say, the greatest disciple.' Stated Elif with a raised eyebrow before pushing the blame onto Axzul, causing Charuli's face to twitch while he shook his head.

'Anyways, Prince, Elif, I'll send my attendant to show you the way. We'll talk more in person.' Said Charuli lightly as he gave his final words before retracting his divine sense from Elif's mind, prompting him to open his eyes, only to see Sarah and Illumia intently staring at him.

"Did something happen, Elif?" Asked Illumia in concern as she intently observed Elif while Sarah silently did the same, causing him to smile with a chuckle.

"Yes, but there is no need to worry so much; I was merely speaking with someone, that is all. I'll tell you about it later." Replied Elif softly with a faint smile as he kissed Sarah before leaning forward and scoping Illumia into his arms, placing her on his right leg, only to kiss her as well.
