Chapter 297: Realm Sect Decided

"That shall be all for today, Your Highness." Said Illumia softly as she stored her wooden battle axe within her dimension ring while approaching Elif, who was propping himself up with Hokori.

"A-Are you certain, Illumia? Are you sure you don't want to cut off one of my arms for good measure? M-Maybe you can slice open my stomach instead and let my organs spill onto the ground." Remarked Elif sarcastically in exhaustion as he dripped blood onto the arena while gazing at Illumia, who summoned her wooden battle axe.

"If you so desire, your Highness, I'm your servant, and I'm meant to please your every request." Stated Illumia both seriously and teasingly as she faintly smirked at Elif, who rolled his eyes before shaking his head.

"Tsk, n-no. I'm merely joking. A-Are you too bland to even notice that?" Said Elif in slight annoyance as he glanced at Illumia, who lightly smiled while storing her weapon away, only to tap his purple dimension ring, summoning a pill with five stars from it.

Seeing Illumia hold the pill, I opened my mouth, allowing her to feed it to me as I swiftly swallowed it, causing the pill to slowly dissolve within my body while refilling my Qi reserves, which were entirely empty, healing my wounded body, and curing my exhaustion. After a few seconds of allowing the pill to do its work, I could move on my own without being on the verge of nearly collapsing while I used some of my Qi to manually direct the pill's Qi.

"Haa, why must you be so violent, Illumia? Look, you even injured my perfect beauty." Asked Elif with a sigh as he summoned a small mirror and looked at himself, only to frown when he noticed the bruises and cuts on his face.

"Well, you intend to join the Realm Sect in a few months, and as your teacher, I must make sure you're not slacking off in your training since, unlike previously, you will be facing numerous opponents with various strengths. Besides, you had specifically ordered me to increase the intensity of our training." Replied Illumia softly with a faint bow as she looked at Elif, who was too preoccupied with admiring himself to acknowledge her words.

"Hmm, sure. Whatever you say, Illumia." Muttered Elif dismissively as he admired himself for several more seconds while Illumia silently watched with a blank expression, though deep down, she secretly enjoyed the show.

"Hmph, regarding the Realm Sect, when will you specifically be leaving?" Asked Illumia as she cleared her throat, snapping Elif out of his daze and prompting him to reluctantly store his handheld mirror.

"Realm Sect? Well, considering Goliath's coming-of-age celebration was held about one week ago, I'll talk with Eyvor, and if she doesn't already have things planned, I'll just leave as soon as possible, no point in delaying considering I've just recently advanced to an early Divine King." Replied Elif with a thoughtful expression as he rubbed his chin, only to shake his head while sheathing Hokori before storing it within his dimension ring.

"Haa, an early Divine King at merely sixteen; even her Majesty was only an early Divine Lord at your age, an entire major realm below you." Muttered Illumia softly in slight disbelief as she gazed upon Elif, who flicked his hair behind his head while smiling.

"Heh, perfection is truly incomparable." Declared Elif with a narcissistic smile as he winked at Illumia before walking out of the arena, heading towards the palace while she followed.

Walking through the training grounds filled with royal guards, I entered the palace, lightly flirting with nearly every woman I encountered before entering my room, only to spot my two servants and little Ember, whom they were speaking with, or more like advising.

"Marley, you best not be telling her anything inappropriate; she is still only eight years old, have some class; aren't you a former noble?" Remarked Elif as he narrowed his eyes at Marely, who cutely pouted in response.
