Dancing in the club with your friends, you all smile and laugh as you have a good time with your girlfriends.

You're only young once, right?

The club is packed tonight, and the DJ is hitting throwback song after throwback song intermingled with cool different remixes of various songs.

There's so many birthdays being celebrated, every now and then he shouts out a person. Like your best friend Jane, who was born on a day like today.

"LET'S HEAR IT FOR JANE, WHO'S IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIRL!"

You and the rest of the girls cheer her on, it's her night. And you've all been together all day, it's sad to see it almost coming to an end.

After a few more moments of breaking a sweat on the dance floor, your other friend pulls you over, talking into your ear because the music was that loud. "There's a guy that has been staring at you for like the last 20 minutes! You have to go talk to him."

Looking over at where she was looking with her eyes, your mouth twitches a bit, and your eyes turn into fiery pits. "He's cute! So mysterious."

"Yeah. Yeah he is." You keep your cool, and your friend gives you a push towards him. You down the rest of your drink and place it on another random table.

Swaying your hips back and forth, Ari stands by the bathrooms, where it was a bit quieter. "You've been following me."

"No," he says flat out, watching you cross your arms angrily and glare at him. "I've been keeping you safe. That's different."

Pressing your foot somewhat hard into the floor, you grow desperate with him. "I told you to stop, I don't care who you report to or who you take orders from, Ari, I'm done I've been done with him which means you can't keep tabs on me to then report back to him! Leave me alone."

Trying to walk past him, he swiftly catches your arm in his hand. Ari used to be a military officer and then turned to work full time for his best friend.

"Y/n." He pleads, "you know why I'm here. Question is are you going to cooperate or not."

"I don't want to see him. And you can't drag me out of this place, nothing can, it's Jane's birthday. Like hell I'm leaving."

"Fine." He takes a heavy breath, "I don't know why I even bother asking you every time."

"ARI! Put me down! I'm going to call the police. This is insanity!" Ari carries you over his shoulder as he leaves the back of the club holding your little clutch under his left arm. "Put me down now!"

The other guys open the dark van in the back. And Ari carefully throws you back there, applying a bit more force because you were pushing him away wanting to run back in to be with your friends.

"Don't you dare move this car, Leo! This is against my free will! This puts in jeopardy the first amendment. That is illegal!"

Leo of course with orders from up above drives the car and Ari sits next to you in the back. But on the other side of the car, just as you go to open it's Leo locks all the doors.

You glare at him, and glare at Ari too. The entire ride to the city. "Let's go." After a few minutes you were in a parking garage that you knew well. Ari waits for you on your side of the car.

With your legs crossed, you cross your arms too, not planning on going anywhere. You don't speak a word to him, not one. Ari huffs angrily, he used to be a navy seal, so he doesn't have a lot of patience.
