We danced and I saw Sang and Sean dancing as well. Chase looked more carefree than I had ever seen him. Today was good for him and I'm glad that we were able to sneak in a nap. I did notice that a few women were disappointed that he was off the market but they didn't behave like Melinda did. Speaking of Melinda, I saw that she was still at the event and was sulking at her table. Men were asking her to dance but she declined and drank more wine. Brenda did accept dances and left with a man who looked to be the same age as her. Finally when Melinda seemed tipsy, she started to accept dance offers.
Despite her cruel words and behavior to me earlier, I felt sorry for her and didn't want anyone to take advantage of her wine clouded haze. I watched her dance partner pretty much having to prop her up so that she didn't fall over in her heels. Wrapped up in Chase's arms, I put my hand on his cheek.
"Chase?" I asked quietly.
"Yes, sweetheart. What is it? Did you want to stop dancing?"
"No, nothing like that. I was watching Melinda and she looks like she's had too much to drink. I don't want anything bad to happen to her."
"You never cease to amaze me. After what she said to you earlier, you still care what happens to her," he kissed me and then continued to talk, "this is why I love you so much. You have a good heart. I'll talk to Uncle Phil about it and see if there isn't another woman who can give her a ride home and make sure that she arrives at her home."
Chase walked me back to my seat and then had a quick chat with his uncle. Phil looked surprised and then nodded at me with approval. Chase came back to me and sat down. "Tired yet?" he asked me.
"Just a little. I really had a wonderful time here tonight."
He kept smiling at me and I could see the wheels turning in his head.
I tilted my head slightly and asked him, "What are you thinking about?"
"You in that adorable pink bikini this afternoon."
I smiled and leaned over to him to whisper in his ear, "I'm glad that you like pink. That's the color of the bra and panties that I'm wearing right now."
Chase's grin got bigger and he said, "I am ready to leave now."
He was ready to hustle me out to his car right then but I pointed out that we had to say goodbye to his aunt and uncle. Plus I also wanted to say goodbye to Sang. Ladies like us needed to stick together. We said our goodbye's to Sean and Sang, and Sean suggested that we get our families together sometime. We agreed to that. Phil gave me a kiss on the cheek and Mavis hugged me. "Make sure that you call soon so that we can meet up. Chase has my number." I promised to do that, "Yes, I would love to hear all the stories of Chase getting into trouble when he was younger!" He groaned, rolled his eyes and we laughed at him.
Chase walked me out to the front of the hotel where he handed the Valet the ticket and we waited for the car to be pulled around.
We held hands, kissed at a few red lights and I admired the lights of the city. Before I knew it, we were home. We went into the house quietly, mindful of the late hour and made our way to Chase's bedroom. I excused myself to use the bathroom first and after washing my hands and the makeup off of my face I came out. Chase went in to use it next and while he was in there, I took off my shoes and jewelry. I wanted to take the dress off too but I would need his help with that. Chase came out and walked over to me.
"Can you help me with the zipper Chase?" I asked him and turned my back to him. He reached up and tugged the zipper down slowly until the dress was undone all the way. The dress slipped down and I stepped out of it. Picking it up I draped it on the back of a chair. Chase couldn't take his eyes off of me wearing just the pink strapless bra and panties. Slowly I reached up to my hair to pull all of the pins out and my hair tumbled down around my shoulders. I fluffed out my hair and smiled at Chase.
