Upstairs in our room I gave Lexine her bath and got her ready for bed. She told me that she was ok with going to school tomorrow, but that Scuttle her seagull was nervous. I had to smile at that. I assured her that it would be fun and she would make new friends. I also told her that if anything happened, Chase was right next door working in the hospital, and any of the guys and me would go to her school for her. That seemed to make her feel better and she fell asleep while I was picking out an outfit for work the next day. I still felt restless so I ventured out of the bedroom and I saw Preston walking towards his room. I must have made some kind of sound and he turned around and saw me.

"Delphine, I was just going to send you a text." he said as he walked towards me.

"What about?"

"I forgot to mention that the preschool will be doing an orientation earlier in the morning for Lexine so that you can get her situated and actually be there for her first day."

I lit up and smiled at him. "I was so worried about missing her first day dropoff! This is great Preston! Who's going to be driving us in the morning?"

He smiled at me and said, "I will be escorting you and Lexine tomorrow morning. I'm still not sure who will be doing the pick up yet, but be assured that one of us will come and get you."

"Great! What time should we be leaving?"

"I'd like to leave by 7:30 because her orientation is at 8:00am and it will be for about half an hour. That leaves us enough time to get you to work by 9:00," he answered me and then looked a little shy for a second which was very unlike him. "Do you... Would you like to spend the night in my room?"

I blushed and nodded yes. "Sure, I'd like that. Just give me a few minutes to change."

Preston looked relieved and happy. "Ok, I'll leave the door open for you and I'll get the handset from Wyatt's room. Make sure the one on the nightstand is turned on so that we can hear her."

I went off to get changed and ready for bed. I did my nightly ritual in the bathroom and I found a black one piece nightie that was made out of a very soft cotton and decided to wear that. I put it on and covered it with a matching robe. Making sure that Lexine was covered and fast asleep, I made sure the handset was turned on and I left the bedroom. I went down the hallway and went into Preston's room. He was standing by his bed wearing pajama bottoms and nothing on top. He was every women's dream come true!

I didn't realize that I was just standing there staring at him until he walked over to me and shut the bedroom door. Preston took both of my hands in his and lifted them to his chest.

"Are you nervous?" he asked me.

"Yeah, a little." I admitted.

"Don't be, I've been looking forward to having you sleep in my arms all night. We can kiss and cuddle, I don't expect anything more." he said and lifted my hands to kiss them.

"That does sound nice."

He led me over to the bed and pulled down the covers for me. I took off my robe and he took it from me to lay on the back of a chair. I got into bed and Preston got in next to me. He opened his arms to me and I went willingly. I laid my head on his bare chest and snuggled in with a sigh. He kissed me on the top of my head and stroked my back. We talked about the next day and what Lexine said about her seagull being nervous. That made him laugh and sympathize at the same time. I was rubbing circles on his chest with my hand as we talked and his touches on my back went lower and lower until he was stroking my butt.

Wrapping both of his arms around me, his hands grabbed my butt and pulled me up higher until we were eye to eye. His kisses started out gentle and then turned heated fast. I kissed him back just as passionately and I let my hands wander over his torso and arms. Preston slipped a hand under my nightie to cup my backside and then slide up to my waist. He kissed my neck and said, "Oh, my D.D. You have no idea how alluring you are. I don't think that I will ever get enough of you."
