After we woke up and got washed and dressed, I made breakfast for everyone except for Chase who was as usual, working his shift at the hospital. After it was all cleaned up, I wondered what we were doing today. There was an air of excitement hanging around the guys and I tried to figure out why. Preston held my hand and pulled me towards his office. Everyone else followed and I threw questioning glances at Preston and the guys behind me. They all had goofy smiles on their faces and wouldn't tell me a thing. Leading me past his office, Preston instead went to the empty office where I made out with him once. Now I was really confused.

He threw open the door with a flourish and pulled me inside. My eyes bugged out and my mouth fell open. The previously empty room had been converted into a workshop. There was a desk with the latest model PC with a scanner/fax/printer combo. Shelves lined one wall filled with clear boxes. The boxes sparkled with colorful beads and crystals of all colors, shapes and sizes. The bottom shelf had black and a few white velvet necklace displays and white  jewelry boxes. There was a worktable set up with various jewelry making tools. A large tv was mounted on the wall behind it. The room had been painted a lovely cream color and the floors had been redone into a light polished wood.

There was complete silence as I ran my fingertips over the different things. I stopped short at the desk. There were a stack of business cards in a silver holder. It had my name with a new email address and a phone number I didn't recognize. That must be the number to the phone that was sitting next to the cards. But the thing that made my eyes tear up, was the description under my name. Jewelry Designer. Tears rolled down my cheeks. How did they know that this was my biggest dream? I sniffled and a tissue was wiping my cheeks off while I was being pulled into a hard muscled chest.

"Why the tears Delphine? Did you not want this? We can get rid of this if that is what you want. Please don't cry." Preston said to me as he caressed my back. I gave out a laugh/sob and smacked his chest lightly. "Don't you dare get rid of this! It's not sad tears, I'm just really happy. Nobody has even gone to so much trouble for me before. This is what's I've always wanted, I've just never told anyone about it. How did you know? How do all of you always know what I want?"

He just smirked at me as masculine chuckles filled the air with a little girl giggle. I wiped off my face and gave Preston a kiss. Then I went around hugging and kissing Wyatt, Brady and Jake while thanking them too. Chase would have to wait for his after he came home. Wyatt showed me the remote for the tv and the settings on the PC, how to access my new email and phone before they left me alone in there to play with my new things.

Turning on my new office television and finding a holiday movie to watch, I explored the boxes of crystals and beads. Ever since spending some time with Sang at the fundraiser, I had been envisioning a pink necklace that I wanted to create but did not have the supplies to do it with.  I located a sketch pad and pencil and drew out a rudimentary idea of what I wanted it to look like. I pulled out all the boxes of pink crystals and placed them on my work table. Pulling out one of each, I set them on the sketch trying to figure out which ones would look best. I played around with that for a while.

I didn't realize how long that while was until Lexine showed up to demand some lunch from me. Laughing, I gave her a hug and a kiss before taking her to the kitchen with me. Together we made some sandwiches and heated up some soup. When the smell of the vegetable soup hit them, the guys swarmed the kitchen and brought their filled plates and bowls to the table to eat.

"None of us wanted to interrupt you in your new office so we sent Lexine figuring that she could get your attention." Wyatt told me with a teasing grin. I laughed, "Well, it worked. I lost track of time and it's all so really wonderful in there. When did you get all of that done? I never even noticed all the work going on."
