I got dried off and dressed by myself, while Brady went to get dressed in his room. Since it was Saturday, I wasn't sure which of the guys would be home with Lexine and I. Not all of them always had Saturday off but on Sundays they mostly did. Downstairs, taking care of breakfast, I found Preston, Lexine, Brady and Chase! He didn't get too many days off so I was pleased to see him. I eagerly gave him a hug and a kiss which made Lexine giggle from her perch on the counter top. The scent of bacon made my mouth water but the cooking eggs however turned my stomach. Chase noticed the expression on my face and got me out of the kitchen.

"Eggs not a favorite thing right now?" he asked me. I shook my head no, "Not so much I guess. I can handle it when it's on everyone else's plate, just not the smell of when they are cooking in the kitchen." Chase laughed softly and gave me a comforting hug, "That's alright, it will pass in time. Whatever makes you feel better, just let us know." I buried my face into his chest, "I just don't like to complain." He leaned down to kiss me, "I know you don't but you have to remember that you are doing all the hard work of carrying the baby inside of you. Whatever we can do to help will also help us bond with the jellybean." That made perfect sense to me. They wanted to have a part in the pregnancy too. I agreed and told Chase that.

We sat down to eat breakfast. Preston told me that Jake and Wyatt were out on a job today and I nodded understanding that it was probably Academy related so I asked no questions about it. None of us had set plans today, so we decided that we would go to the grocery store later and possibly baby stuff shopping. I knew we had months to get ready but they were so excited about it. Chase followed me out to the greenhouse and helped me water the plants. "These are all really growing. They must like it in here." he commented. "They really are and I'm so happy about it." I said to him, "Fresh vegetables and herbs make such a difference in the taste of food."

"Plenty of that will be good for the baby." he said with a kiss. That distracted me and we ended up making out for a few minutes before his phone buzzed with a text. He looked at it and laughed, "We need to get back to the house and ready to go shopping sweetheart. The natives are getting restless." Preston, Brady and Lexine were waiting for us when we got back. I hurriedly got a hold of my purse, phone and jacket before we all left the house.

Brady was driving this time and pulled into the parking lot of a big box store that sells everything under the sun. Once we were inside and had grabbed a cart, Lexine tugged on Brady's hand to go look for the toy section. He indulged her and they took off together. Chase and Preston steered me towards the baby section so that we could look at the selection. They talked me into getting a bouncy chair, a newer baby monitor that Wyatt could make upgrades to and a high chair. By talking me into it, I meant that they put in the cart before stating that we needed it. The cart was of course filled up by then and Preston left to get another one while Chase stayed with me.

"Remember what we talked about earlier." he told me as I eyed the baby things with an amused look on my face. "I haven't protested or said no." I said to him. "Good girl." he said and kissed the top of my head. Preston showed up with another cart and directed us over to the next aisle where there was an entire row dedicated to strollers. The two of them compared and discussed the options there and finally they asked me for my opinion. "As long as it has a drink holder, basket underneath and is easy to fold up and light enough for me to toss in the trunk, I'll be happy with it. Oh, and I'd prefer a set so that the car seat will snap into it." They looked at each other and said, "We should have asked her first." That started a whole new discussion about car seats and such. I tugged on their arms to get their attention again, "Can we wait on the stroller and car seat until we know what the baby is? I want a girly stroller and car seat for a girl and a boyish one for a boy."  They both agreed with sheepish grins and we went to go search for Brady and Lexine.
