Valentine's Day - Raphael

I giggled as I raced over the rooftops beside Raph, my backpack thudding against my back every once in awhile, weighed down slightly with my present I'd brought for him. Honestly, I had no idea where he planned on taking me, until we jumped onto the roof of an old apartment building - the one we'd spent so many hours in, where our friendship turned into something more.

Raph took my hand with a small smile and murmured, "Follow me."

"Like I have a choice," I rolled my eyes as his grip on my hand tightened and he dragged me down a flight of stairs.

He ushered me quickly through a window, and my eyes widened. The apartment we'd stepped into was completely decked out with candles - on the table, along the walls, everywhere. I decided to hold back my comment about the extreme fire hazard, instead turning to Raph with a grin and saying, "It's beautiful."

"You're beautiful." Raph smiled and kissed the top of my head, making my cheeks redden, before pulling away to point at the platter of chocolate chip cookies on the counter. "You like it?"

I could only nod in awe, internally going crazy about the pile of... delicious... cookies...before starting out of my daze and twisting to pull out the little gift box, handing it to him with a smile.

Raph glanced at me inquisitively, grinning when he unwrapped the gift and saw the limited edition Modern Ninja magazines I'd managed to track down.

"Awesome!" He leaned down and kissed me, "I love it! I love you..." He set aside the magazines to wrap his arms around my waist.

I giggled, my arms coming up around his neck as I mumbled softly, "I love you too, Raphie Boy."
