Regrets of Yesterday

Chapter Forty Three

Sammy's POV

Days flies so fast. Semestral break is long gone over. For me it was like a week off from school. Though I enjoyed every bit of it. Second semester starts.. well it kicks off since last month. We are now on our 6th week of schooling. And just like that, Christmas is just around the corner. And today.. today is our last day before the Christmas break finally kicks.

I'm now on my way to our room when my phone suddenly beeps. It's Justin. He's asking where am I because class is about to start in a bit. I know he's worried so I immediately texted him that I'm only one room away.

Well, if you're wondering how Justin and I these days.. I must say that we're totally okay. Though sometimes we fight over small and petty things. Like me, being so sleepy and I often end up asleep while he's on the phone. Things like that makes him irritated.  And of course him being too gentleman to the point that he wants to help me even the things that I used to do for myself. I raised as an independent so I rarely needed some help especially on the things that well, I really can do on my own. But he always insisted and I always refusing so we end up fighting. Ugh. See? Small things that we always tend to make it big.

But what's good is we always make sure that we settle it before the sun goes down. And we admitted our own mistakes.

I know some of you also asking what happened on that day.. after Joshua and Allen leave. Well, true enough, Ren and I had a talked. A SERIOUS ONE. She never smile that day. And she even got mad at us.. especially at me because of me, being so impulsive. But we're okay now. I know she's only reacted that way because she loves the both of us and she doesn't want us to be in trouble.. again.

Napag-usapan na rin pala namin na kaming barkada lang ang makaalam ng nangyari. Hindi yun pwedeng makalabas. Lalo na kay Justin. Alam ko naman, nagseselos pa din sya at may agam-agam pa din sya na ayaw ko na sanang dagdagan pa.

We never had a big fight since that day. And I want it to continue. Small fights were okay. Because it's normal.

Kung tinatanong nyo naman eh yung si Janice.. hindi pa naman nagkukrus ang landas namin since then. Na ipinagpapasalamat ko. And sabi din naman sakin ni Allen, sa ibang university naman daw nag-aaral yun so malabong magkita pa ulit kami.

"Janna!" Justin said as I stepped in our room. He immediately grab me by my hand and lead me to my seat. "May ibibigay pala ko sayo." he said as he fished something out on his pocket. "Here.."

"What's this?" confused.. I asked.

"Buksan mo."

I do what he said. It's a necklace. A necklace where our initial engraves on the back of the infinity pendant. 'JJ'

I smiled sweetly at him though confusion still flooded on me.

"Justin thank you but.. wait lang.. bakit mo ko binibigyan nito?" I asked again because I honestly don't know why. He never gave me presents just because he feels like it. It's always a present with something.
