Third Person's POV

Little Alistair Jared, or AJ as what his parents called him, is a curious young boy, with many questions. He's four years old, after all.

His mommy is still working from home so she is available most of the time when she isn't busy. If Aj was lucky and persistent enough, he could get the answer her wanted from his mommy, like that one time when he asked about why his mother fell in love with his daddy. Yet, Aj's questions were usually met with a pair of glare and/or sentences similar to "Don't bug me." or "Go ask your daddy." or "You're asking too many questions."

Like that time when he saw his dad kissed his mom who scowled at the affection. After his daddy was gone, Aj asked her, "Mommy, how does it feel to be kissed with your boyfriend?"

Mommy glared at him, "Don't ask questions like that. Besides, your dad is not my boyfriend. He's my husband, okay?"

"So you hate it? You look angry."

"... It's not that..."

"So you like it?"

Mommy turned red and stomped off, leaving Aj's curiosity unfulfilled. "Mommy, why do you look so angry if you like it, then??" he would've to ask Daddy later on, because he really needed to know if it is alright to kiss his girlfriend. Yes, he has a 'girlfriend', her name is Zara, Irene and Joshua's second daughter.

Or that time when he saw his mommy looking so tired early in the morning. "Mommy, are you sick?"

"No," came a curt answer.

"Why do you look so tired while i feel so energetic every time I woke up in the morning? Did Daddy hurt you?"

His parents were fighting last night. Well, more like mommy was sulking at daddy because of something before she stormed towards their bedroom, Daddy followed her soon after and the bedroom was shut tight for the rest of the night.

"No!" his Mom blushed madly.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"One more question and you'll be grounded for the rest of the week."

That shut Aj up.

On the other hand, Daddy usually answered to his questions patiently one by one, so when he was around, he would ask him. But Daddy was busy working most of the time, not to mention those trips outside of town, including now.

His father had been gone for almost a week now, far exceeding his normal two or three days, Aj missed his gentle laugh, his affectionate responses to any of Aj's antics and his delicious cooking. He also missed being taken to the school in the morning (his Mommy is doing it for him for now) and being kissed goodnight in the evening.
