"I'll be back, Robin. I got to go on patrol around the city. I already let the police know about the Scarecrow and they're searching for him. Might help. Think you can take care of Joker while me and Alfred are out?" The Dark Knight asked, gathering all of his gadgets and gizmos together in his utility belt. He sighed, looking himself in the mirror. Sometimes whenever he went on patrol, it would be exciting. However, since he knew about the Scarecrow and his intentions, it wasn't very fun.

Robin smiled to his father reassuringly, "I can take care of him, Padre! And in case of anything, I'll call you."

Batman smiled happily and ruffled his son's hair a bit, "that's my boy. I'll be gone for an hour or two. Keep Mister Joker company till Alfred comes back. Okay?"

"Okay!" Robin chirped back, still smiling happily. His father nodded and headed downstairs, opening the door and leaving the manor without another sound. The freckled boy giggled happily as he looked at the clown curiously. He poked his nose gently and noticed that he flinched.
"Jee. Scarecrow must have hurt you badly. But don't worry; Padre and I will help you, again!"

Joker's eyes fluttered, stirring a little. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, a groan escaped his lips. He looked to his right and expected to see his wonderful and courageous hero, but saw that it was only Boy Wonder. The clown sighed loudly and laid back down, hearing the boy giggle.
"What happened to your Batdad?" The clown asked softly, turning to face him.

Robin smiled happily and said, "my Padre is off on patrol. He might be looking for Scarecrow."

Joker nodded and rubbed his neck, his pale fingers brushing over the large bite mark he had received from the doll-like man. He winced in pain and could feel blood trickling from the wound. Robin gasped and grabbed the aid kit quickly and opened it up, searching for a clean cloth and ointment to put on the wound. Joker tilted his head at the boy.
"What's that for?" He asked with a hint of worry in his voice.

Robin bit his lip as replied, "it's for your neck. It will help that bite you have! It might sting, though. If it hurts too much, I can stop."

Joker nodded and let the boy do his work. Robin then put a little bit of the special ointment on the cloth and dabbed it onto the clown's pale skin. He whined in pain and closed his eyes tightly as he let Boy Wonder do his work.

After setting the ointment onto the wound, Robin grabbed a large bandaid and took off the wrapper and put it onto the clown's neck. He sighed happily, feeling a little bit better.
"Thanks, kid. You're a life saver."

Robin giggled, "aw, thanks, Mister Joker!"

Joker chuckled at the name 'Mister Joker'. It had such a nice ring to it. He knew that Harley always called the clown 'Mister J', but the kid's little nickname for himself was nicer. Then it hit the clown. Perhaps, he should talk to Batman's son about his feelings. He seemed open minded about a lot of things. Maybe he knows that the clown has a thing for the Dark Knight. He looked at Robin and smiled softly to him, getting a smile back in return. Joker cleared his throat, not knowing what to say at first. But then-

"Say, Mister Joker? Do you have a crush on my Padre?" Robin asked softly, a reassuring smile formed on his lip. Joker was surprised. He didn't think that the freckled face boy would ever ask that question!

He took a moment and smiled nervously. He licked his red, smudged lips and shivered a bit. "Well, I-I do. Yes. I have for a while, now. Why?"

Robin had the biggest smile on his face when Joker admitted that he did. He giggled lile a fangirl and said as calmly as possible, "I knew it! Me and Grandpa knew it!"

Joker blinked, stoned at what the kid was saying. He then had the guts to ask, "does your dad, maybe, feel the same?"

Robin shrugged, "I know the answer, but, I don't want to spoil it! Maybe, when you're alone with him, you should tell him your feelings!"

Joker trembled anxiously. He wasn't sure that would be such a good idea. Since when was it a good idea to tell the Dark Knight his feelings?
"I don't think I will be able to, kid. Won't it effect everyone? I mean, I bet youdon't really mind from your reaction. But, the commissioner? She would hurt Batsy..." He trailed off and whimpered softly.

Robin smiled and pat the clown's shoulder. He could tell that the Joker was very nervous to tell his father how he really felt. "Maybe you could let him tell him? I mean, I know my dad doesn't like saying his emotions, but who knows? Maybe, he loves you too! You never know until you try. And I bet that you and my dad will be a perfect match! I really like you and so does Alfred. We want you two to get together really badly! We believe in you, Mister Joker!"

Joker could feel tears form in the corners of his eyes as he smiled big, biting his bottom lip. He hugged Boy Wonder and chuckled. "You're such a good boy. Thank you."

Robin nodded and held the Joker, "you're welcome!"

After about five minutes of hugging, the two could hear Alfred come home with the groceries. Robin looked at Joker and giggled, "want to help Alfred? I bet he bought half of the store, like usual!"

"Alright! And you can tell him the news, if you want," Joker replied with a big smile, wiping away his tears.

Robin nodded, "yeah! Grandpa will be super happy to hear this!"

Joker nodded and watched as Robin ran out of Batman's bedroom and headed downstairs like a flash of lightning. He looked down, smile slowly fading away. He then got reminded of his dream and his eyes widened.

"Super?"
