Joker sighed as he and Robin played more of Monopoly. The freckled face boy had almost bought every single house and smiled happily, looking at the little game board. Joker wanted to be more intense with the game, but his mind was wandering in other places. He was terribly worried about the Dark Knight. The way he trembled when he said that the opponent he was going up against, Superman, was horribly nerve racking. He knew that something bad could happen. Otherwise, the clown would not have acted the way he did around Batman. What if Superman did murder the caped crusader? What would happen to Gotham City? What could happen to Robin? What would happen to Joker? No Batman equals no Joker. No Batman equals no Robin.
Boy Wonder waved his hand in front of the pale clown's face, his beady, black eyes filled with pure worry. "Mister Joker? Are you alright?" He asked in a soft voice. Joker finally snapped out of his thoughts and put a hand on his forehead. Sweat began to treckle down his face like a fast current. His acid green eyes looked into Robin's as he whimpered softly, making Robin feel even more worried. Joker then shook his head honestly, looking down at the little dog piece that belonged to the little boy.
"I'm not okay, Robin. I'm worried about-"
"Padre?" Robin cut in, tilting his head to the right slightly. He nodded slowly and looked at Joker's purple suit and bit his lip. "I've been worried about Padre, too. I mean, it's been almost two hours since he left, and we still haven't heard anything from him! I'm getting worried, too."
Joker nodded and ruffled Robin's brown hair gently and licked his smudged lips, "you're a sweet kid, you know that?"
Robin nodded and giggled, "I know!"
Suddenly, Robin's walkie talkie activated. Alfred's voice emerged from the speaker. "Joker!? Robin!? Please answer!"
Robin picked up the walkie talkie, pressing the button to talk to Alfred. He looked at the clown and whimpered softly. "Grandpa? What's happening!?"
"Its Clar- I mean- it's Superman! He is- gah!" A loud crash could be heard, making the two shutter.
Robin began to tremble and talked into the walkie talkie again.
"Grandpa!? What is Superman doing?"Another loud crash, followed by three loud screams of anger coming from the tight-wearing superhero. Alfred looked behind himself and saw that the Dark Knight's grappling hook was around Superman's ankle, attempting to climb upwards. The superhero went around in circles and hit against the wall to try and knock off the caped crusader. Each hit against the wall was nerve racking for the butler. He could see Bruce's bruises beginning to form on his face. His helmet looked as if a tiger had clawed it, several scratches were on the mask. Alfred spoke again into the walkie talkie, "you must come here as soon as possible! Let Mister Joker take one of the jets and get here as soon as you can. I cannot fight off Superman for very long. We need your help!"
Joker grabbed the walkie talkie, "where are you two?"
"The Fortress of- GAH!- Fortress of Solitude!" Alfred then gasped as the tight-wearing superhero threw a large iceberg at the butler. He dodged it and ran as fast as he could to get to a safe place. "Please hurry!"
Static.Joker looked at Robin and nodded, "we gotta go before something bad happens to them. Where's the Batcave?"
The little boy narrowed his eyebrows into his eyes and grabbed Joker's hand, surprising the other with the sudden action. They ran down the steps, hands intertwined as one. Robin lead him to a large fireplace and pressed a button, an elevator appeared. "You can't tell anyone about this, promise?"
Joker nodded and smiled, "I promise!"
Robin smiled happily as they both went down the elevator. Moments later, they arrived inti the Batcave. Joker and Robin then ran to a van-sized jet and got into it, faster than the Flash could run. Robin passed Joker the keys to the jet as he buckled his seatbelt quickly. Joker did the same and placed the key into the ignition slot, turning on the jet. He then watched as an large door garage door opened for the two. Joker then pressed his foot onto the gas and spead onto the runway, lifting off into the air. Robin turned around as the garage door closed quickly afterwords.
Joker's eyes narrowed downwards as he looked at Robin. "Do me a favor, kid. Are there any smoke bombs in the back?"
Robin unbuckled his seatbelt and went to the back of the jet, opening a cabinet labled 'smoke bombs'. He then looked at Joker. "There are! Why?"
"Gimme one, please," he replied, setting the jet on auto pilot. Robin went back to his seat and sat down, giving the smoke bomb to the clown. "Thanks," he said as Robin gave him the device. He then reached into his pocket, pulling out an odd shaped green see-through rock.
Boy Wonder tilted his head and watched as Joker took out a small mini-hammer and crushed the rock into little tiny pieces. He then asked, "what is that?"
Joker smirked as he opened up smoke bomb, placing the, now green powdered rock crystals into the device. He shook it around and smirked as he could hear the mixture swirl around inside the smoke bomb.
"This is a little something just in case something really bad happens. For emergencies only!"Robin nodded and adjusted his glasses. "How did you get the rock?"
"I have my ways on getting certain things. I have more of these bad boys at home! In case of a super emergency," Joker replied and chuckled at his joke.
Robin giggled and smiled, "nice! Let's get there as soon as possible!"
"Right!" Joker agreed and turned off the auto pilot, driving the jet towards the freezing artic to meet their next opponent.
