A large crash was heard, followed by a boom as the Joker blocked off his new, freshly claimed, special place. He began to set up several fireworks that he had gotten from his sister-friend, Harley Quinn, and set them up in a straight line in front of the old abandoned warehouse. Of course, he checked if there were any hobos or homeless people, which, to his avail, there were none. He sighed as he laid against the wall of the warehouse, sighing heavily. The clown knew that the caped crusader would be coming any moment. His acid green eyes starred at the beautiful sunset that was laid out before him. He then went inside and was greeted by an office chair with rope on one of the arms.

Rolling his eyes, the pale man kicked it to the other side of the warehouse, growling irritatingly. He knew that the man in tights would come back on hands and knees, apologizing to him once again. Joker had not accepted them at all. Not after what he had done to his Batsy, Robin, and the torture that Garfield had been through. If it weren't for he and the caped crusader, the Scarecrow would have successfully murdered Beast Boy with that sickening green fluid of his.

He trembled at the thoughts, shaking the terrible thoughts away quickly. Checking the time, the clown bit his lip impatiently. He wanted to see if the man in black would show up to his spectacular private show.

Suddenly, one of the windows were shattered as a familiar figure appeared. The Joker cringed and hit himself with his fist over and over again. He did not want to seen this horrible excuse for a hero. Not now, not ever.

He turned around slowly, a low growl formed in the back of his throat. The tight wearing floated over to the clown, his face flat with dismay. It seemed as if he had not been sleeping well, dark circles formed under his brown eyes. Superman landed in front of the villain, no words were spoken between the two. His eyes trailed down onto the old, grey floor as he sighed softly. He did not know what else to do at this point. The clown had made several points to him and scolded him multiple times. All he wanted to hear were the three magical words, 'I forgive you', and nothing more.

Joker crossed his eyes, his face turned sour as his eyebrows furrowed. He walked slowly towards the superhero, eyes meeting in direct contact. A quick tension bled between the two.
"Why are you here? I invited Batsy. Not some scoundrel like yourself. If you're going to apologize again, you know the answer. You mind as well leave."

"But, I am sorry. Why don't you believe me? I can do anything for you amd Batman. Just give me a chance!" Superman exclaimed with eyes widened. He was desperate for an acceptance. However, the clown did not accept. And he knew it.

"I know you say you're sorry. But actions are stronger than words, aren't they?"
He received a slow nod from the tight wearing hero. Raising an eyebrow, the clown continued.
"I suggest you to leave my superhero and children alone. They don't need to be around you right now. All I want is to cause havoc. And, quite honestly, you're ruining the fun!"

"But, Joker! Please! Reconsider! If this is about the Injustice death scene-"

"This has nothing to do with that, Superlame," he hissed, smacking the hero hard on the cheek. Superman whimpered and rubbed the red hand print that planted on his cheek. "This is about the sake of my hero. My nemesis, my kid, my life! I don't need you in it. All you have done is ignore the sweetest, most kindest person in the world! All for what!? Because he's the 'Edge Lord'?! You make me sick."

Without another word, the tight wearing superhero flew back to the Fortress of Solitude. Perhaps, he should give the clown even more time. Perhaps, a year's worth of time. Joker sighed as he continued to put up the fireworks once again, thinking about what he had said while humming his beloved's theme happily.
