As the butler and the caped crusader returned home, he looked at at Alfred nervously. He did not know how to address the situation without the older male possibly scolding him. Alfred sighed and turned to Bruce and raised an eyebrow.
"Care to explain?" He asked in a, somewhat, worried tone. Bruce nodded and bit his lip. He cleared his throat and rubbed thr back of his neck.

"Clark came after me because of the projector. I told him that it went back into the Phantom's Own and, Clark being Clark, didn't believe me. And now, he's after me because he's angry that I stole the projector and pretty much let Joker release all of the universe's baddest villains."

Alfred's eyes widened, a surprised look on his face. He shook his head a looked at the door. Then, he glanced at Bruce. "But that happened days ago, yes? I understand why he would be angry at you, but he must learn how to let go."

"I know," said Bruce, his arms flailing. "And everyone wonders why I can't get along with him! It's because he takes things too far!"

Alfred nodded, "I agree with you. What should we do? Have you apologised?"

"No!" Exclaimed Batman. "I wasn't able to because he grabbed me by the neck!"

"I see." Alfred rubbed his chin and began to think of an idea. Then it hit the butler. If they went to the Fortress of Solitude and let Bruce apologise, perhaps the tight wearing man will forgive him and go their seperate ways. The butler turned to Bruce and smiled.
"How about this: we will go to the Fortress of Solitude, try and apologise to Mister Clark. It is the only way to get out of this. Unless you really want to have another large, disappointing brawl with him again, I suggest you listento me. Can you do that?"

Bruce licked his lips and nodded slowly. He looked over to the butler and bit his lip. "We can try it. I'll put this on 'Everybody else's ideas' and make it two."

Alfred chuckled and nodded. He was about to go into the living room, but turned around and asked, "should Robin and our guest come along?"

The Dark Knight shook his head and shut his eyes, rubbing the back of his Batman mask. "It's best if we don't bring them into this. This whole thing was my faul-"

"And Joker's," Alfred cut in, walking towards his master. "Joker released the villains, you brought him to the Phantom's Own. Don't take all of the blame when half of it was not your fault, Bruce."

Bruce huffed and looked at the ground and back at his butler. He nodded slowly, biting his lip. Alfred smiled and headed to the Batcave, getting his master ready for the mission. "Now, Master Bruce. If anything happens, let your computer contact me."

"I thought you were coming!" He exclaimed, eyes widened. "What if he kills me?!"

Alfred licked his lips and looked to his right. He then looked back at Bruce and sighed. "I suppose I can assist you."

Bruce smirked and nodded, "okay. Let's head out now before Superlame wrecks the rest of Gotham."

"I couldn't agree more," Alfred said with a small smile. "Just let your guest know."

Bruce nodded, hurrying up the steps quickly. He walked down the messy hallway and cleared away the large clutter of furniture from earlier. He sighed softly and walked to his bedroom, hearing soft giggles emerge from it. A smile crept on the Dark Knight's lips. Joker and Robin must really like each other now. Perhaps, when the caped crusader is finished with Superlame, he should admit his love to the clown. He nodded to himself. "Yeah, I'll do that," he whispered to himself. He then knocked on the smooth, oak brown door and smiled as he entered the room. Joker was sitting on the bed beside Boy Wonder, playing a small game of Monopoly. The clown smiled at Batman and giggled.
