"Who do you think will be the guest of honor?" Dick asked as he, Garfield, and Alfred were making lunch. Several bagels, crushed tomatoes, and martizella cheeses covered the kitchen island as they made pizza bagels. It had been little over an hour since Joker returned and his father left. He had said that the commissioner wanted to have a talk with the man in black. Bruce was not specific about it to the butler, but it must have been important.

Alfred looked at Dick and Garfield, shrugging slightly. He knew that Bruce's son would most likely be the man of honor. The butler didn't fully know.
"Perhaps you or Garfield, Master Dick. I am not sure."

"What about you? Doesn't the father get to become the man of honor?" Garfield asked as he put some martizella cheese on his bagel. It was true that the father of the, soon to be wedded, would become man of honor. But, for whatever reason, he was making excuses or telling Dick and the green boy other things. Excuses, if you will.

"I think Padre will pick you, Grandpa!" Dick exclaimed as he finished making his pizza bagel. He put it onto a large tray and smiled to the butler.
"You would be a great man of honor!"

Alfred smiled and ruffled the freckled boy's hair and chuckled. He was happy to have 'grandchildren' like the green boy and the freckled face boy. They were so sweet to each other. It was heartwarming.

The butler smirked as he grabbed the tray of pizza bagels, opening the oven door and placing them inside. He shut the oven door and let them cook for about an hour.
"Thank you, boys. You two can go and play. I will ask Dick's father about who he desires for the man of honor. For now, go outside and play."

The boys nodded and giggled to one another, dashing quickly out of the house. They were already chasing each other as the butler laughed to himself. After a moment of silence, he sighed and walked over to the cupboard, grabbing a teacup and teabag from it. Alfred put some warm water from the faucet into the cup and placed the teabag inside, using the string to move it up and down. After a few minutes, he threw away the teabag into the trash can and went into the living room, sipping his cup of tea as he sat alone in silence. He could have sworn that the Joker had returned home. Alfred had seen him outside. Not with the children, of course, but near the door.

He wondered what the clown was up to now. Perhaps, chaos and mayhem. Maybe, something else. He chuckled at the thought as he drank more of his tea, humming to himself in delight.

"Listen, Barbra. I don't care what you think about me and Joker. I get that it's your opinion, but you shouldn't tell me to dump on him now," Batman said in a calm tone, looking at the commissioner with irritated eyes. They were in an all black room with two lights on. It filled the dreary room with dim, yellow lights. A wide, grey table was infront of the two with several papers were scattered across it. Two pens were ontop of the papers, one black and one green. They had caps on them, making sure the ink doesn't dry.

Barbra rolled her eyes and sighed, putting a hand under her chin. It was a difficult situation for her city and local superhero. She knew that it was none of her business to be telling the Dark Knight who he could and couldn't date with. But, the fact that he had fallen in love for the Joker was unnatural. It felt wrong, and she had to do something to fix it. Who knows what the Joker could actually be hiding behind those lovey-dover eyes he gives the man in black. He could be lying to his face and using him for an evil scheme. Which, for Barbra, made her slightly afraid and even more of the clown. What if it was true that all Joker wanted was Batman to form an evil scheme? She had already seen that happen before, and it was not pretty. The clown Prince of Crime was a sneaky little snake, and Barbra had to be the hawk that killed it. Of course, she wouldn't kill Joker. Just stop him from his poisonous scheme.
