The morning sun began to rise, melting away certains areas of snow and ice. It was twenty-five degrees outside as some children went to play in the morning air. Above the ground, the sky was covered with several clouds. It was like the colors of cotton candy.
On this particular morning, a tight wearing man was waiting for his crush to come out of the mansion in the backyard. He held several roses close to his chest, sighing softly. Love was dead set in his eyes. He had successfully tricked the Dark Knight into thinking that he had a crush on him, but in reality, it was the Joker.
After, what felt like an eternity, the clown finally went outside, breathing in the freezing, cold air that filled his lungs. He smiled, sitting down on a small stone-carved chair, flinching at the sudden stab of the cold surface. He sighed, looking up at the sky and smiled as he watched the clouds float by. The clown always did this whenever he woke up early. It passed away the time quickly.
Suddenly, a flying superhero floated down to the Joker, a big grin on his lips. His face was warm as he hid something behind his back, love in his eyes.
The clown rolled his eyes, glaring at the superhero who had almost killed him months ago. He still hated him, but not as much as he hated the man in black.
"What do you want, Superlame?""That's a cute little nickname you gave me, J-bird," Superman said, a smirk planted on his lips. "You're so interesting, you know that?"
"Yeah, and so are you," Joker said flatly, rolling his eyes to the right as he folded. "What do you want?"
"I was wondering if you would like to go and have a lovely dinner with me tonight at seven. It's the least I can do. Here; I even brought you flowers for you." Superman gave the clown the lovely roses and smiled happily.
Joker glared at them and shook his head, trying to give them back. To his avail, the superhero was persistent and did not take them back. This agrivated the clown. He knew that the superhero was up to something. But, he remained calm. He looked at the roses and sighed deeply.
"Thank you for the offer, however, I must decline!""Wh-what? But, it's all I can offer you. Are you sure?" Superman asked, his eyes grew with sadness. He looked as if he were a kicked puppy.
"I appreciate the offer, Superman. But, I am terribly busy with Batman. You see this?" He showed the green ring to the floating man, smirking. "I'm engaged! I don't mean to brag, but I am the luckiest person ever. You see, Batsy is way more charming than you. Although, he may never show me his true face, it doesn't matter. We're perfect for each other."
Superman growled as he sighed angrily. This was his last chance to earn back the clown's respect, and he used this opportunity wisely. He floated down to the clown, cupping his cheeks and kissed him right on the lips. Joker's eyes went wide as he struggled to get away. Oh!- how he wanted to throw up at the superhero's horrid flavour.
Eventually, he escaped the hero's grasp, tears forming in his acid green eyes. He backed away, beginning to sprint towards the manor in fear and confusion. However, the superhero grabbed him by the arm and pulled him close to his chest, smirking at the sweet clown. He picked him up and sighed. Joker squirmed and began to cry, kicking the hero in the chest.
"Let me go, you brute!" He screamed, attempting to wake up his beloved. "Leave me alone! I'm going to get married! I'm not yours! I'm Batsy's and only Batsy!"
"Not anymore, babe," he cooed, kissing the Joker again. "You're mine now, baby. I was meant to be yours!"
"Never!" Two voices exclaimed in anger, both kicking Superman the best they could. Joker then punched the hero in the face, growling loud. The tight wearing released the villain as another figure caught him before the Joker hit the ground.
The clown gasped and saw his beloved, hugging him tightly. Tears treckled down his chin as he sobbed hard.
"Batsy," he said softly and whimpered.Batman smiled to the clown as Robin and Beast Boy kept on beating up the tight wearing hero. Eventually, he flew away. The green boy changed into a large eagle, his talons gripped onto the freckled face boy's shoudlers as they landed safley onto the ground. Garfield changed back and laughed at each other. It was fun!
They quickly ran to Robin's parents and whimpered as they heard the heartbreaking sobs from Joker. They ran to his side and whimpered more.
"Papa!"Batman tried to calm down the clown the best he could. He knew that, whatever the hero did, must have been terrible. Once the clown had finally stopped crying, he kissed his forehead.
"What did he do to you, Joker?"The clown sighed shakily and bit his lip, "he kissed me and tried to take me away!"
Batman looked at the children, growling angirly. They headed inside the manor as the couple went upstairs.
"Go back to bed, kids. He'll be ok."The children nodded and scurried back to Robin's room quickly. The Dark Knight gave a low sigh as he went back to his bedroom and laid down on the bed, keeping the door open. He kissed the clown's lips, humming softly in satisfaction. It was a good thing that the clown was loud, otherwise, the hero would have gotten his horrible way.
Joker kissed back, holding onto Batman's hand sightly as they kissed each other patiently. After a moment passed, they pued back. The man in black smiled, cupping the villain's cheeks and grinned.
"I was meant to be yours. You're all I can trust," he said softly, receiving a smile from the other as he drifted off into sleep. Batman held onto the clown and kissed his neck gently, smirking happily.
They were meant for each other.
