As Batman and Robin were on their way, yet again, a deep growl formed in the back of the caped crusader's throat. Sure, the Joker had accepted his proposal, but it was rudely interupted by some villain that wanted to cause chaos.
Robin sighed, biting his lip as his father drove dangerously fast. He knew he was upset. It said it all over his face. A proposal was supposed to be special and not interrupted. But, unfortunately, it was. And the sidekick knew that the fellow superhero was going to pay for it.
"Padre, I know you're angry, but you got to calm down!"
"Calm down?! Kid, you don't get it. I was proposing to Joker! You don't interrupt a proposal!" Batman exclaimed, the car went faster as they traveled through one of the Joker's secret tunnels with super sonic speeds.
"I know, Padre! And I know that you're going to take it out on Superman! But, you gotta calm down until we reach him!" Robin said, holding onto the seats for dear life.
Batman nodded and clinched his teeth, beginning to relax very slowly. He slowed the Batmobile down, looking at his son with a long sigh.
"Sorry, kid."
"It's okay! I understand," Robin said, patting his father's shoulder.
"It was meant to be special. And now, he's gonna get seven across the a-"
"Hey! Look!" Robin exclaimed as they came out of the tunnel, seeing the tight wearing hero in their sights.
A loud growl of frustration escaped the Dark Knight's lips as he hit the superhero with the Batmoblie. The freckled face boy gasped and held on as the mobile cam to a halt. Batman drifted to the left and parked the car. He and the sidekick got out as he began to tackle the hero. He head locked Superman, kicking his back violently. The tight wearing man grunted as he flew up in the air, dropping the caped crusader from a few feet. Robin gasped as he successfully caught his father, whimpering slightly.
"What the heck are you doing here, Clark?! You ruined a very emotional moment!" Batman exclaimed, face red with pure rage. If he had an eraser, he would erase the fellow superhero out of existence. But, of course, that would be wrong and going against his rule.
Superman folded his arms, glaring at the caped crusader. A low sigh escaped his lips as he floated towards the fallen hero.
"Well, while you were with your little family of yours, I stopped the Croc from destroying the pipeline! Yay, me!"
"Well sorry for living!" Batman screamed, the sidekick covered his mouth quickly with his hand. He shook his head and looked at the floating hero.
Superman rolled his eyes, sighing softly, "besides, I wanted to talk to you again."
"Like what?" Muffled the Dark Knight, rasing an eyebrow. Robin removed his hand, sighing softly.
"Well, I've been thinking a lot about us. I know you probably still hate me for whatever reason. But, I beg to differ."
"Clark, don't fuel the ship between us. I swear to-"
"I-I kind of have deep feelings for you, Bruce," Superman said, rubbing his arm nervously.
Robin growled and shook his head, "why does everyone have a crush on my dad?! First, Barbra, now you!"
Batman's eyes widened as he blinked rapidly. He was dumbfounded by what the superhero had said. His face began to turn green, backing away from his son.
"I'm going to hurl. Is that seriously it?"
"Y-yeah. It's okay if you don't feel the same. I mean, I know I hurt you and Joker. But, I have to know, why did you save him?" Superman asked, rasing an eyebrow.
"Because he and I are, between you and me, d.a.t.i.n.g. And since you're so smart, you can spell it out." Batman said, turning to Robin. "Let's go before we make the fans throw up."
"Okay, Padre!" Robin said with a big smile, waving to the tight wearing superhero, "toodles, Superlame!"
As they went back into the Batmobile, the caped crusader laughed as they sped off into the night. Superman sighed and rolled his eyes. He didn't really have a crush on the caped crusader. Instead, it was that sweet little clown. There was something about the villain that made his heart beat fast. He wanted to make up to the clown, and so, he headed to the closest flower shop, attempting to impress Joker. But, what the love-struck superhero didn't know was that a certain butler was watching, huffing softly as he headed back to Wayne Manor with the commissioner.
