Joker grinned. He finally had the greatest and the most brilliant plan in years! He sighed happily and hugged his clipboard gently. "I'm so proud of me."
Harley roller skated into Joker's thinking room and smiled. "You seem very happy, Mr. J. What's on your mind? I could hear you chuckling from a mile away!"
Joker giggled like a little school girl, "I have one of the best plans to take over Gotham City!"
Harley clapped in joy and hugged Joker gently. "I'm so proud, Boo! But... What's different this time?"
"I'm going to ask the walking doll for some help!"
Harley gasped, "WHAT!? Boo, you know he would want to destroy Gotham, right?"
Joker nodded, "I know. But, I am going to make a deal with him. You can witness it if you want, doll."
Harley nodded and smiled. "Alright. Just in case he tries anything, like knocking you out, I'll watch."
He nodded and giggled as Joker got up and went to go have a word with the Scarecrow. He and Harley walked over to his room, gently knocking on the door. "Scarecrow? Can I talk to you?"
Almost instantly, the door opened. Scarecrow glared at Joker and smiled. "Ah, boss. What is it?"
Joker grinned, "I need your help for my newest and greatest plan! Wanna help?"
Scarecrow grinned wickedly. He loved the sound of a juicy plan. "Sure. Come on in."
He opened the door all the way, letting Joker and Harley inside. "Does the little derby girl have anything to do with this?"Joker shook his head, "not this time. Just you and me!"
He nodded, "good." He sat down on his bed and looked at the two visitors as they sat on the cold, tile floor. The room was dark and had a very off vibe to it. This made Harley slightly uncomfortable, but she wanted to see if Scarecrow will try anything.
After a moment of silence, Joker spoke up. He cleared his throat, "Alright, so here's plan: first, we go to the highest building in the entire city. Then, we set up this baby!" He put down a small, yellow-ish brown, box with a pink button on the left side of it. It was entirely made out of metal and looked as if it had been made in less than a day.
Scarecrow chuckled. "And what is this? A Jack-in-the-box?"Joker shook his head as he put down a small mouse. "Watch and learn, my friend. This is a mind control device!" He pressed the button and a ray of supersonic sound waves blasted at the mouse. He flinched and its eyes were filled with swirls almost instantly. He was very wobbly and it made a small groaning noise.
"Mouse, walk towards the wall and wack your tail with it!" It did as the Joker commanded in a split second.
Scarecrow was impressed at the little device. "And who made that? You?"
The Joker nodded happily, "why yes! I did! And I need your help to take over the city!"
The Scarecrow tilted his head, a bit confused as to why the Joker needed him so badly. He cleared his throat and checked if his knock out gas was still intact, which it was. Scarecrow then looked at the, now, nervous Joker. "And why do you need my help?"
"Because with this device and your knock out gas, we can knock out the entire police and fire control! That way, we can take control of my city once and for all!"
Scarecrow placed a finger under his chin and nodded. "And what's in it for me?"
"Anything you want! You can destroy whatever part of the city with my say!"
He nodded and chuckled darkly. "Well then... It's a deal. I will help."
Joker nodded to Harley, who worriedly nodded back to him. "We start tomorrow morning! Before the sun rises."
"Sounds good. We meet at the tallest building in Gotham. Also known as the Sky Scraper."
Joker laughed and nodded. "Yup! See ya!"
And with that, Harley and Joker left; leaving alone a very pleased Scarecrow in the back of their minds...
