Night was finally arrived after, what seemed to be a century. A soft glow from the shining moon glistened against the arctic environment. Snow fell from the soft clouds above, another snowfall had started. A soft sigh escaped the superhero's lips as he watched the snowflakes fall down onto the snow with such grace. He was floating above a snowbank as he kept thinking about what had happened earlier that day between himself and the caped crusader.
He admitted that what he had done to the clown was horrible, and decided that he should apologize to the Dark Knight for what had happened. The tight-wearing male wondered if he would ever be forgiven. After all, Batman's sidekick could have witnessed his death. And from his age, that would be rather traumatizing. At least he made his point to the fellow superhero.
Perhaps, now would be a good a good time to apologize to the poor clown he had injured hours ago. It seemed like the right thing to do in a messy situation like this. Besides, maybe he and the caped crusader could make up. Why not try, right? He gave a heavy sigh, stretching his back as he headed off to Wayne Manor at full speed.
Robin smiled as he ran up the steps and went down the hallway. He giggled softly, remembering what the butler had done moments ago for him. He put the raspberry flavored Jolly Rancher lollipop into his pocket, a small smile formed his face. The freckled face boy was about to knock, but heard someone talking. It sounded like Mister Joker and his father. He pressed his ear against the door, listening into the conversation. Curiosity flooded his mind as he listened closely.
"I wonder hoe Boy Wonder will react to this," Joker mumbled, burring his pale, flushed face into Batman's chest. He nuzzled him gently and smiled. "I bet he will love hearing this, yeah?"
The Dark Knight nodded, running his hand through the clown's green hair, petting it gently. It was still just as messy as before, but this didn't bother Batman. Not one bit. "I bet he will be so happy when we tell him the good news," he said, now rubbing the other's left pale ear gently, earning a satisfying purr. He chuckled at the clown's reaction and licked his lips. "Wonder what's for dinner," he said to himself, his stomach growled right after. He jumped as he heard the clown's stomach respond almost immediately.
Joker lifted his head up from the other's chest and smiled, "I'm for dinner."
"I'm not a cannibal, J-bird," Batman replied, smirking at the clown.
"Not yet," he purred, smiling back at the Dark Knight. He looked at the his new love, his acid green eyes filled with pure love. Joker was finally happy now that he and Batman were together. He couldn't think of anyone else he would rather be with. The Dark Knight was perfect for him. They were so alike, and yet, so different in many ways. One was the hero, the other was a villain. The pair got were a perfect match. And the clown didn't want it any other way. Plus, now he had a kid who could take good care of and raise the Boy Wonder with his partner. He didn't care if he was the Clown Prince of Crime anymore. Even though it was an unbeatable title, the clown did not really care much for it anymore. All he wanted was to cause havoc and be with his man in black. And, it was perfect. Just like he wanted it.
Suddenly, a soft knock interrupted their moment, making the two jump. The Dark Knight bit his lip and separated away from his lover. Joker laid back onto the bed, red and black blanket covering his body. Batman sad beside the clown and said, "Come in!"
Robin went inside, smiling at the two. He closed the door and walked up to his father, smiling softly. "Alfred said that dinner is ready!"
Batman nodded and so did Joker, they blushed at each other as their eyes met. They began to zone out as they remembered all of the good and bad times they have spent with each other. The freckled boy walked over to them, tilting his head. He could see that their eyes were sending love waves into one another, making him giggle. Perhaps, they were together now.
Joker shook his head and looked at the little boy, his smile reaching from cheek to cheek. Batman tilted his head and tilted his head towards Robin, biting his bottom lip a little nervously. The clown nodded, giggling softly at the Dark Knight's actions.
Batman sighed, licking his lips a bit. He then said, in a soft tone, "Joker and I have been talking a lot. We have decided to do something that no other superhero and villain would do. If we tell you, promise you won't freak out, okay?"
Robin nodded, folding his hands together. He had a feeling that they were going to tell the freckled face boy that they were now dating. It was so obvious. Both Joker and Batman had told him at separate occasions that they loved each other. Though, they did not confess their love to one another, Robin knew that they must have done it recently. It was all over their flushed out faces. "I promise, Padre!"
Batman nodded, clearing his throat as he said, "Joker and I are a thing now. And, since I knew how you would react, we have something to ask of you." Robin tilted his head as his eyes trailed to look at the clown with a big smile. He slowly walked closer to the bed.
"W-we were wondering if, maybe, I could be your second dad? If that's fine with y-"
Robin cut off the Joker as he gave him a big hug, nodding his head. His black, beady eyes sparkled as if they were from some sort of anime. He then said after a moment of silence, "Yes! I would love that!"
Joker smiled large and hugged Boy Wonder back, tears formed in the corners of his eyes. "Thank you, Robin," he said softly. Batman chuckled and hugged the two gently, earning giggles from them.
Robin then smiled at Joker and giggled softly, "I'm gonna call you Papa!"
The clown smiled bigger and chuckled, "That's fine by me. Right, Batsy?"
Batman nodded, ruffling Robin's hair. He then smiled softly, sniffing the air. He could smell the food from a mile away. "Let's go and eat, okay?"
The two nodded, giggling to one another. Robin then got up and ran out of the room, heading downstairs like a bullet. Joker chuckled as he kissed Batman's chin gently. "Let's follow him."
