Once the Batplane finally landed ontop of the tall building, Batman was baffled to see the man in tights with the Scarecrow. He wondered if the superhero had something to do with the villain's apparent revival. If so, what roll would Superman have? Turning to face his beloved, Batman raised an eyebrow in worry as Joker looked down at his kryptonite engagement ring. With it, the clown knew that Superman wouldn't be able to pull anything since it was his own weakness.

When they got out of the large aircraft, Joker and Batman walked over to the doll-like man and Superman at a slow and cautious pace. They did not want to deal with them. The Dark Knight, especially, didn't feel like saving Joker for the twentieth time in a row. It was getting rather annoying over time, he admitted.

Joker was behind Batman as they walked closer to two. His acid green eyes glared at the doll-like man. He just didn't know when to quit, did he? The clown growled as Scarecrow greeted them with a happy grin. Joker stopped Batman from walking as Scarecrow moved closer to them. Of course, the Dark Knight made a strange look at his beloved. He knew that Joker was highly unsure about this. Something did not seem right about this.

"Look who found me," the doll-like man hissed in a happy tone as he moved closer, watching Batman and Joker's every move. "I expected you two to arrive eventually. Right on time too, I might add! But, I bet you're wondering how I came-"

"Yeah, yeah, the Author made you come back to life for plot and something 'bad' is going to happen, but most likely not. Let me guess, some scientist accidentally dropped some kind of a revival medicine and it landed on your corpse. Gosh, this is sounding like a rewritten script! You sure we haven't done this before?" Batman said as he folded his arms. "Why are you even here?"

Scarecrow was surprised that Batman guessed correctly. But, he didn't admit it. He walked closer to the caped crusader and said, "I want to finish what we started. I want a rematch."

The clown moved in front of Batman, folding his arms and facing to the left. His eyes were shut closed as he pouted slightly. "Well, guess what?! This guy," Joker grabbed Batman's left arm and squeezed it, making the Dark Knight turn slightly red, "he's mine! I make the cuts and calls. Plus, that's my line!"

"It may be your line, Joker. But, Batman is his own person. Am I right, Batsy?" Scarecrow cooed, making Joker even more agrivated. The doll-like man chuckled at the reactions he was receiving.

"Don't call him that!" Joker exclaimed as he began to tremble in anger. "I'm the only one who can call him that! Not you; me!" He was about to hit Scarecrow with his rubber chicken, but Batman stopped him. The Dark Knight walked up to the doll-like man and slapped him hard on his right cheek. He gave a feminine sound as he walked away. Superman was about to burst into laughter as the Scarecrow fell on the floor due to the force of the slap.

Just before he could reach the clown and hug him tightly, Batman heard an alarm clock that was sounded off underneath them. He gasped as he realized it was coming from underneath the Joker. The clown moved away from the sudden sound and looked at Batman with a concerned face.

Superman watched as the Scarecrow slowly bursted into his iconic insane laugh, watching the two soon-to-be-weds look around in confusion. The tight wearing hero gasped as he just about to warn Batman that it could be a bomb. But, just when he was about to speak, the flooring exploded and large waves of air were inhaling anything in its path. The hole was like a black hole. Joker was slipping as he grabbed onto the top of the room, screaming for Batman to move near him. It was better for him to fall in then the caped crusader.

But then, Joker began to slip and lose his grip. Panic rushed into his mind as he began to fall into the hole. Batman turned to Superman and yelled, "keep Joker safe," as he pushed Joker to the tight wearing man, falling deep into the hole, followed by terrified screams. Scarecrow laughed as Joker was tossed to Superman. He, too, fell into the hole at an alarming rate. Once he was inside, the hole slowly closed itself up again as the terrified screams drowned into nothingness.

When the hole finally closed up, Joker gasped as he realized he was not inside the hole. He looked up and squirmed out of Superman's embrace and ran towards the closed up hole. Tears began to form in the corners of his eyes. A horrified gasp escaped out of mouth as he realized that the Dark Knight was no where to be seen. He laid ontop of the hole, curling up on it and letting out a painful sob of agony and loss. He blamed himself over and over again, wishing aloud that he could have done something to prevent this from ever happening. Superman wanted to go over to the sobbing, chubby man, but left him alone for now. He felt hurt and confused, too. Why would Bruce have done something like this? Maybe, he just wanted to change the story. Maybe, it was something else. But for whatever reason why he did such a thing, one thing was for certain:

Batman was gone.
