Batman, Garfield and Robin got out of the limo, smiling to Alfred. The caped crusader told the butler to keep an eye on certain things in case something ends up happening. He nodded and watched as they went towards the large house and was instantly greeted by Barbra. She was wearing a lovely white dress that reached to her knees. Her hair was tied back with a white ribbion. The shoes she wore were simple white slippers. He chuckled and got out a newspaper, sipping a cup of tea in peace.

Barbra smiled and Robin hugged her tightly. She thought that Bruce Wayne would have shown up, but instead, it was the Dark Knight.
"Didn't expect seeing you! What are you doing here?"

"Came here for ol' Brucey," replied Batman, chuckling softly. "He has a big business meeting in London."

Garfield tilted his head and raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. He was still confused about Robin's parents. Was Bruce Wayne Batman?

"And who's this little guy?" Barbra asked, cooing at the green boy and giggled. "Is this Robin's friend?"

"Y-yeah! I-I'm Garfield," the green boy said, smiling nervously as he shook the commissioner's hand firmly.

Barbra smiled as the freckled face boy and Garfield went inside the building. She and thw caped crusader followed after them slowly. "Say, have you seen Joker at all? It's been almost have a month since he's caused havoc."

"Oh yeah," Batman said, shrugging. "I don't know. He kind of, I don't know, disappeared?"

"Disappeared? I heard that something happened between him and Superman. That's pretty out of the ordinary, right?" Barbra said, laughing. "I mean, if he wanted a rematch that badly, he could have asked for a punch in the face instead! That would probably kill him instantly, though."

"Y-yeah," Batman said, frowning a bit as the commissioner said these hurtful remarks. "Actually, I have seen him. The other day, he blew up an old warehouse."

Barbra raised an eyebrow and rolled her eyes. She sighed, crossing her arms. "And here I thought he was gone for good. Then again, without him, there would be no you! Right?"

Batman nodded and looked at the floor, not sure on what to say. There was already several people in the party room. It was at least the size of a school football field. Several butlers went around, delivering and offering some champagne or a snack to some of the guests. There were, at least, thirty people already here, which surprised the caped crusader.

"You know," Barbra spoke up, biting her lip. "I've been thinking a lot of things. Like, remember when you and Joker took forever to stop looking at each other? You two have seemed, well, different."

Batman raised and eyebrow, his blue, illuminating eyes looking at the commissioner. "Why? Is that a bad thing?"

Barbra's eyes widened. "Well, no! It's just unexpected, is all. I never expected to see the two of you to get along. You had to be nice to him to get what you wanted, right?"

"Yes," Batman replied flatly. "I mean, not really. I didn't have to be nice. I just felt like it!"

Barbra nodded and hummed softly as she began to wonder what else to speak about. Then, it hit her. "Are you seeing anyone?"

Oh gosh, the caped crusader thought, closing his eyes and cringing. The heck do I say!? I am dating someone, but then she'll get suspicious. Besides, she's noticed Joker's disappearance. So, what should I do?

"No? Why?" Batman asked as they walked over to where a long horizontal hallway was. The children were playing with each other, which calmed the bat a little.

Barbra moved closer to the man in white and black and bit her lip nervously. Maybe, now was a good time. "Well, if you're not seeing anyone, and I'm not seeing anyone, maybe, we could go out sometime when I'm free?"

Batman began to panic mentally. Little tiny Batman's filled his mind as they ran around his brain, running and screaming. Several argued as a fire began to spread out randomly. Back to reality, he was cringing and holding in his breath. He didn't know what to do.

"Well, I mean, I guess? Maybe Robin could tag along with u-"

"I actually meant the two of us," Barbra said, cutting of the caped crusader, a little rudely. "I mean, Robin is adorable and fun to have around, but I want us to go out sometime."

Of course the Dark Knight knew what she meant. He was coming up with excuses left and right. What was a gay man that was a superhero supposed to do in an awkward situation like this?! Barbra was dangerously close to the Dark Knight, making the situation even worse for the caped crusader. Panic flooded through his mind like a tidel wave. He didn't know what else to do.

"What do you think?" Barbra asked, blinking rather slowly. Her head tilted a little, a blush smeared across her face.

Before he could respond, Barbra kissed the Dark Knight on the lips. He didn't respond, wanting the throw up. Eventually, he kissed back very slowly. He didn't know what else to do, and so, he tried to remain as calm as possible. His arms trembled nervously as the commissioner kissed him.

Robin and Garfield gasped silently and dramatically. They couldn't believe what they are seeing. His father was kissing Barbra Gordon! Their eyes widened as they saw that Robin's father kissed back. The green boy turned to the sidekick, whimpering silently.

What the four didn't know was that a certain Clown Prince of Crime came in through the hallway exit door silently and saw the sight, gasping silently. He backed away, tears forming in the corners of his acid green eyes. The pale man shivered in anger, fear, and confusion as he ran away towards the janitor closer, being followed by Garfield and Robin who gasped, horrified at what was happening.
