As the sidekick, the hero, and the villain bit their lips, they decided to go to the left. Robin followed his parents happily as the pale man wrapped his arms around Batman's neck, smiling happily. He knew that everything would be okay in the end. Hopefully. The clown didn't want anything else to happen on this eventful morning. And so, their journey begins as they went down the left corridor, greeted by the warm yellow, dim light.

Walking a few more feet downwards, Robin gasped as he could see a large hole at the end of the corridor. He got excited and was just about to tell his fathers the good news. Suddenly, Superman popped put of the hole, giving a smile to the freckled face boy. Robin saw him immediately and walked up to him with a friendly smile on his face. But, just when he was about to say a word, the man in tights grabbed his face and pushed him aside, making all of the fangirls reading this pull out their knives and stabbing their closest Superman merchandise in anger. Robin gasped as he spun a little and fell on his rear, his black, beady eyes turning into little swirls.

Batman growled as he reconginsed the figure almost immediately. He watched as the superhero pushed Robin aside as if he were some kind of animal. Anger rushed in his mind as he could feel his left eye twitch in irritation. Of course, who wasn't irritated at the hero by now?

"Well, well, well. Look what we got here! This could have been avoided, you know. Of course, you two don't like to listen to me, as usual," Superman said, rolling his sapphire eyes to the left. He turned and saw the young boy get back up on his feet, but stumbled slightly and fell back down. The tight wearing chuckled at the sight and rolled his eyes to the right, looking at the two, specifically, the clown with a googly eye look. Superman floated over to the clown and smiled happily at him, sighing softly to himself.

Joker could feel his motherly instincts kick in and pulled out his lucky rubber chicken, glaring at the superhero in the eyes. He then watched as Superman floated face-to-face with Batman and smacked him hard against the tight wearing man's head, giving a grunt as the rubber chicken let out a long squeak. Superman gasped and rubbed the top of his head as a small bump began to form.
"You don't do that to Robin! Just help us get out of here so that we don't have to deal with two hundred chapters of action, already! Unless, you want another wack from mister Rubber."

"Actually, I was thinking otherwise. We all know that there is still laughing gas up there," Superman said, pointing at the hole. "Besides, we don't want you to get hurt now, do we?"

"Um," Robin fiddled with his hands anxiously. He looked up above the hole and gasped. It was all clear. They all could escape without a scratch. Well, of course, Joker was possibly hurt.
"We can go out, now. It's all clear!"

Batman smiled as he walked over to the sidekick, looking up above the hole and nodding in agreement. He then began to jump up to edge of the hole, grunting as he did so. Looking at the freckled face boy, Robin gave him a little boost to help his fathers up from the hole. Batman put down the Joker and smiled to him, hanging halfway over the edge to help Robin up. But, to his surprise, he didn't go up to the man in black. Instead, he walked to the tight wearing man and glared at him the same way Joker would.

Crossing his arms, Robin walked up to the flying superhero and gave a small pout to him, making the clown that was now beside Batman chuckle. Superman flew down to Robin's height and raised an eyebrow, tilting his head at the sidekick curiously. Then, Robin cleared his throat and bit the inside of his cheek nervously before he began to speak.
"You know that my Papa doesn't think that you're impressive, right? Maybe, instead of trying to get his attention all of the time, use it on someone that will appreciate you! Papa is taken and he's getting married, too. So, please do us fans young and old a favour and leave Mister Joker alone. Okay?"

After he finished talking, he was about to grab Batman's hands as his fathers' faces were filled with astonishment. But, just when he was about to grab the Dark Knight's hands, the ground below him began to quickly give way. Joker gasped in terror and let his rubber chicken down for his son to grab. Robin tried to grab it and whimpered slightly in fear. But, to the couple's terror, the ground finally gave way, sending the, now screaming, freckled face boy down into nothingness. The Dark Knight gasped and was about to go after him, but was stopped by the superhero. He then went down after the falling sidekick as his head tilted slightly back, legs kicking and tears forming quickly. Robin tried to grab onto something, but got his glove amd hands cut in the process. His hands began to flail as he fell faster and faster down to nothingness. He shut his eyes and sobbed harder as more panic rushed through his mind.

Screaming as fear formed in the back of his mind, Robin let out a weak sob as he imagined what his fathers must be thinking. He should have just left and then spoke to the tight wearing hero. But, instead, the sidekick decided to waste time and look where it lead him. The freckled face boy thought that he was an idiot, and now, a failure and a staller. It made his heart skip a beat at the thought of Batman, his idol, his father's disappointment. They must have thought he was such a blind little boy.

Just when he thought all was about to come to a gorey and horrifying scene, Robin felt someone catch him just in time. His eyes opened and fluttered open quickly, only to be greeted by the superhero we all used to hate. Superman just saved Robin's life from almost death. It seemed silly to the freckled face boy. Why would the tight wearing man save his life after stalling him? All of his thoughts were silenced as he broke into a heart breaking sob.

Superman then flew back up from the nothingness and saw the horrified faces of Batman and Joker. He gave the Boy Wonder to them and held him close to their chests, showering him with kisses which startled the poor boy. The tight wearing superhero's eyes widened as more pieces of the roof began to collapse at an alarming rate. He watched as the Dark Knight and Clown Prince of Crime began to run as fast as they could with the sidekick, following the superhero. Superman then quickly punched a large hole in a wall and held it up for the three as they ran through it quickly. Once he released, the large hole was covered in rubbish as all fell down all at once.

Batman, Joker, and Robin ran out onto the sidewalk to get away from the collapsing building. Who knows what could have happened if they were in there for another second. The Dark Knight looked at his fiance and son and hugged them both toghtly. He heard the clown give a soft gasp as he held out the Boy Wonder's cut and bleeding hands. Batman turned around quickly as he heard a loud 'swoosh' come from behind him. He saw the superhero and gave a soft smile, giving him a 'so-so' gesture to him, and then a thumbs up. In return, the man in tights did the same thing and flew off in the distance to return home. When he looked up, he could hear and see many paramedics rush ti them quickly. All seemed to be finally all right for once. But, suddenly, Joker began to feel pain in his hip once again and winced in pain. Robin gasped as his eyebrows furrowed into a U-shape, giving a concerned look to his second father. Just before the paramedics arrived, Joker fell into the Dark Knight's arms and whimpered more in pain. Robin gasped as Batman gave his son a small aidkit quickly from his pocket and let him aid himself. He then stroked Joker's cheeks gently as the paramedics began to take the clown away.
