Two days left until Robin's birthday, and the Joker was already up and running with his chaotic ways. It didn't surprise Bruce in the slightest. Of course, he was surprised to find out from his butler, Alfred, that the clown had been out since one o'clock in the morning. What on Earth was he doing this time?

Joker laughed as he ran down one of his tunnels, heading downtown to cause some mischief. He grinned as he went through the plan in his head, giggling at it for the millionth time. Suddenly, his walkie talkie went off, making the clown stop dead in his tracks.
"What?"

"It's Barbra, boss," Riddler hissed through the mic. "She's talkin' with Bats. Should we do somethin'?"

Joker groaned as he played with the antenna of the walkie talkie, growling softly. He thought that he and the Dark Knight made a point yesterday. They didn't want her around. What did she want?
"Spy on them, Rid. If she pulls anything, poor that ice cold lamb sauce I gave you and the Penguin on her!" He laughed as Joker hung up, putting the walkie talkie back into his back pocket to keep running.

Once he had reached the end, the clown chuckled lowely as Joker saw a bunch of security gaurds gaurding the entrance to the freakishly large building. He wondered why there were several rows of security gaurds, but brushed the thoughts away as he dressed in his police costume quickly. The clown then snuck behind the gaurds successfully, earning strange glances from each od them. He shrugged, sprinting to the stairs to meet with the black and red haired girl at the top.

Harley was waiting for her Mr. Jay, giggling to herself softly as she leaned against the large, green wooden crate. She knew that the Chief of Police would randomly arrive soon, due to the fact that she was seen by several civilians. That was never a good thing. She smiled as Chief Kurt popped up right behind her, folding his arms crossly.
"Ah! My favourite person. Nice to see ya'-"

"What are you up to, Quinn?" Chief Kurt cut off, glaring at the female clown. It was seven o'clock in the morning by now. Never did he think that he would see Harley Quinn in a place like this. It was odd and very suspicious.

Harley skated towards Chief Kurt and giggled to him, poking at his left broad shoulder gently. Rolling her eyes slightly, she giggled softly at him.
"Always so nosey, Chiefy! Don't worry about it. Just a little present for my puddin'."

Joker made it to the top of the stairs once Harley said, "puddin'," and stayed low. As his beloved sister-friend talked on and on about Poison Ivy and her's relationship, the clown began to crawl down onto the ground, moving slowly and silently to the green, wooden crate. Several times as she talked, Chief Kurt would look over, making the clown flinch and give a small, silent whimper.

Finally, the Joker opened the crate from behind and chuckled through his yellow, sharp teeth. Inside was a large oxygen tank as big as a television set. It was almost like a large, square grenade. A pulling string was exposed, making the clown chuckle more silently to himself. He waited until the Chief and Harley were out of the way.

Once they were finally away from the green, wooden crate, the pale man yanked at the string hard, grunting as he did so. Chief Kurt gasped as a loud hiss, followed by a high pitch laughing sound, went off. Joker and Harley backed away from the crate as a green gas came out of it, making the Chief cough hard. He began to laugh hysterically as the gas exposed into his nostrils and into his lungs. Joker covered his and Harley's mouths as he went on ahead to see if his beloved fiance has shown up yet to save the day. To his dreadful avail, Batman was no where in sight. A horrified gasp escaped the clown's lips as he coughed hard at the gas. Harley gasped as a loud hissing sound emerged from the crate, making the second floor shudder. The Chief began to faint as Harley caught him in her arms, making her hold her breath. She skated as fast as she could down the stairs and called for her brother-friend. No responce.
"Puddin'! We gotta go! Now!"

Suddenly, the crate began to hiss even louder, making the female clown shudder in fear. She skated down the steps and made it safely out the door, handing the passed out Chief to a random security gaurd. Harley was just about to skate back up the steps, when suddenly, the gaurds pulled her back. They began to run away from the building, Harley crying in fear.
"No! Wait! Someone is in there! We have to get them out!"

As she gave a loud gasp, the second floor exploded, making the first floor collapse in an instant. Harley and the security gaurds gasped in terror as more green gas filled the air. They ran away, except for the female clown. She stood, starring at the collapsed building with wide eyes.

Tears began to fall down her pale cheeks as she trembled in terror. A dark green smoke came out of the building, spreading out into the exposed atmosphere. Harley gasped and backed away slowly, pulling out her walkie talkie.
"Riddler?! Where are you and Peng!? You need to get B-man over here! Do you hear me; get Batman here, now!"

Riddler groaned as he instantly responded, "why? And Bats is heading downtown where you two are. Is everything-"

"Joker's plan back fired!" Harley exclaimed through tears, gripping onto the walkie talkie tightly. "Get your baby penguin and get over here! It's an emergency!"

Riddler put the walkie talkie into his back pocket and looked at his beloved, climbing back onto their motorcycle and sped down the street quickly. On the way, they could see dark green clouds form in the sky. The both bit their lips and hoped that, whatever happened with their genius plan, Joker was alright. Penguin gripped onto Riddler's waist as he looked up at the dark red sky in terror, hearing distant firetrucks and police cars heading their way. Riddler stepped onto the gas peddle, making the motorcycle go even faster.

When they finally arrived, Riddler and Penguin got off of the motorcycle quickly, running to the crying female clown. She hugged the two villains and sobbed once in their embrace. Penguin looked to the left and gasped in terror, his mouth dropping. Riddler tilted his head and looked at the burning and collapsing building. They both looked at Harley and noticed one major thing throughout this whole situation: the Joker was no where to be seen.
