Just before the Dark Knight could reach the Joker's car, it suddenly swerved and out he went. Batman growled as he parked the Batmobile and climbed out of it while locking it as well. He pulled out his brand new grappling hook and shot it upwards to grab onto the rail of the staircase. The hero and the villain were in, yet another, abandoned warehouse. And, as expected, the beloved clown didn't have enough action in his veins. What a shocker.
When Batman blocked off the pale man's path, Joker gave a small squeak and began to run down the stairs, only to be grabbed by the arm. The man in black then pulled him up the steps while his fiance squirmed and squeaked in response. Once they were on the top floor, Batman finally let go of the Joker and glared at him, folding his arms crossly.
"Explain yourself, J-bird. Unless, you want to go back to Arkham that badly."
"Oh, please! Have mercy!" Joker fake pleaded while rolling his eyes while, he too, folded his arms. He looked at the Dark Knight and gave a small sigh. Of course, the clown wanted the caped crusader's attention as usual. However, there was something that was bugging him. So much, in fact, that he did not want to return back to the manor due to what he had done.
Batman raised an eyebrow and walked to the slightly. He was now face-to-face with the villain and tilted his head. He wondered why the clown wanted his attention oh-so badly. It was strange.
"What's the matter? Catwoman got your tongue?"
"N-no," Joker said softly, looking down at the floor as tears began to form in the corners of his eyes. He turned to look at the wall and away from the man in black as he could feel tears run down his cheeks, dripping off of his chin. A soft sniffle escaped through his nostrils as he began to tremble.
Batman wrapped his arms around the Joker, hugging him from behind. He rested his right cheek on his right shoulder and looked at the tears that were being shed. The man in black felt Joker's hands grip onto his arms tightly within his embrace.
"If you're upset about what happened, don't be. I'm sorry for yelling at you."
"Don't be," Joker managed to choke put as more tears fell from his eyes and falling onto the Dark Knight's arms. "I deserved it. If I didn't blow up that place, Robin would be okay. His hands must hurt really bad."
"Probably," said Batman as his hands trailed down to Joker's thighs, gripping them slightly. "I know that thing that you made was entirely your fault, but look on the brightside; and at least you learned something from yoir mistake. At least, I think you did."
"Okay, mister know-it-all," the clown chuckled softly as he felt his fiance peck at his neck. "I mean, I guess I learned something: don't use an oversized grenade. Do I get a cookie, now?"
Batman shrugged, "meh, close enough." He then turned the pale man around to face him. The caped crusader gave a sly smile and began to kiss the other's tears away. It was very nice to have someone like the Joker into his life. No one would satisfy the hero other than the clown dressed in purple and orange. And, he loved him with all of his heart. It was difficult to remain enraged at the Joker, of all people - other than Dick - was hard to stay mad at. The soon-to-be wedded couple held onto each other as they heard the familiar sound of police alarms sounding off in the distance. They then began to kiss, wrapping themselves together as one thing. It was a lovely and heart beating sight to witness. Batman told his computer to arrive where the two were and smiled as it was turned into the Batplane. Joker and the caped crusader climbed into the flying aircraft and began their journey back home at a quick pace.
