Chapter 23 - Alex O'Loughlin

Hi! So this was requested by opieisanugget thank you.
The request: Y/N and Alex are dating and when they go to the premiere of Hawaii Five-O season 8, Alex makes the night special and proposes.

Alex's POV
"Hey, man! We're ready now. Just waiting for you." Scott said as he came up behind me. I quickly closed the box and hoping he didn't see. But of course he did. "Is- Is that what I think it is?" He asked. I opened the box and showed him this ring:

"Wow, that's beautiful." He said sounding baffled. "Yeah? You think Y/N'll like it?" I asked nervous. "I don't think she'll like it dude." He said. I looked at him with shock and fear written all over my face. "I know she will love it." He said patting me on the back as I let out a long breath. "You guys coming or what?" Your angelic voice could be heard from the front. "You guys better not be cheating on Y/N in there!" Daniels voice could be heard right before a smack we could only guess was Y/N slapping his arm. I walked out the door after Scott and said, "I only have eyes for you darling." I kissed her before we all got into the car and drove towards the premiere.
Your's POV
We arrived at the red carpet and I could hear all the screams that erupted. All for the cast of course, not me. "ALEX, I LOVE YOU!!!" Someone screamed. "SCOTT I WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABY!!" Okay I was officially weirded out now. Daniel and his wife Mia were the first one out of the car. The screams only got louder. Second was Grace and her husband Phil. Third was Scott and his girlfriend Kacy. After that it was only we left in the car. Alex took my hand and led me out of the car as the screams sounded louder than inside of the car. We walked the red carpet and posed for some pictures. My favourite pose was probably this one:

We reached the end of the carpet and was about to go inside when Alex spun me around and let go of my hand. As he bent down on one knee, I understood what he was doing. My hands flew up to my mouth as my eyes started watering and hearing that the screams were slowly dying out and all cameras was on us. Then, he started to speak as tears mixed with mascara spilled over.
Alex's POV
I heard the screams quiet down and saw that all cameras was on us. Perfect. I opened my mouth watching as a tear ran down Y/N's face. I took her hand and started to speak. " Y/N, the second I saw you I knew that I wanted to spend the the rest of my life with you and start a family, watch our kids grow up, buy a house and maybe have a dog." The crowd laughed a bit before I continued. "Y/N Y/L/N would you give me the honour to be your husband?" I said as I looked at her face, waiting for an answer that hopefully was gonna be 'yes'.
Yours POV
As he was done with his speech, I couldn't speak so all I did was nod my head erratically and he slipped the ring on my finger and lifted me up in the air and spun me around and kissed me as the crowd went wild and all I could hear was my heart that was pounding in my chest and the flashes of the cameras. "I love you." He whispered to me. "I love you too." I whispered back.

Hawaii five-O star Alex O'Loughlin and girlfriend of two and a half years Y/N Y/L/N are getting married! Read more on page 5.

It was at the red carpet premiere for season 8 as Alex popped the question. He had bought the most beautiful ring and had the most amazing speech. And of course Y/N said yes, I means who can resist so much beauty. We spoke with Alex and Y/N later that evening and here's what they said.
"I'm absolutely stunned, shocked and surprised after all of this. But I'm really happy that I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with the man of my dreams." - Y/N
We're right there with ya girl.
"I'm probably the happiest man alive right now but also quite relived since I didn't know if she was gonna say yes or humiliate me in front of the world and live TV." - Alex
Well we're really happy that she said yes at least, and we wish you all the luck in the future and we are waiting to see if there will be an invitation in the mail soon. 😉
