Chapter 92 - Chin Ho Kelly

The request: You are in the navy and best friends with the whole Five-0 team. One day you come to Hawaii to help the team with a case but something goes horribly wrong. Read to find out what.

Y O U
You walked through the glass doors leading to the Five-0 headquarters with Chin. He had called you and asked that you come and help them with a case and as you as you agreed he picked you up. As you walked in you caught the attention of the rest of the team. "Y/N!" Kono said and went for a hug, which you retuned, of course. After hugging Steve, Danny and Lou you went right to work. "So, what's the case?" You asked. "Multiple explosives have gone off all over the Island, at the moment there is only three dead but a lot of injured. We figured that since you worked with bombs in the navy you could help." Steve said and you nodded. "Do you have a picture of the bombs?" You asked and Steve nodded as Kono put the pictures up. You studied the bombs for a minute before you sighed and ran a hand over your face. "Something wrong?" Danny asked. "A few years ago 12 explosives were stolen from the navy base here at Hawaii. Those bombs are the same that's in the picture." You said. "There has only been 5 explosions so far, that means that there are still 7 bombs out there." Chin said just as Steve's phone dinged. "Okay! There had just been a suspicious package delivered to the HPD so we are gonna evacuate slowly okay?" Steve said as he read the text on his phone and you all started to walk out of the building. You and Chin walked at the end of the group so when you were passing the bomb the rest were already out. Click. "Did you hear that?" Chin asked but you were already pushing Chin out the door. "It's activated!" You shouted and pushed the both of you trough the door and down the stairs. You had just gotten halfway down the stairs when it exploded and you pushed Chin in front of you before all went black.

"...ou okay?" I blinked away the dust in my eyes and saw Kono standing in front of me but I ignored her and looked around before my eyes fell on a body. "Y/N!" I screamed and limped my way towards her as fast as I could and dropped to my knees next to her. "I need a medic over here!" I heard Steve shout somewhere around me as I turned her over and    put her head in my lap. "You're gonna be okay, you're gonna be okay. You have to." I whispered as medics started to work on her.
At the hospital
I had told the rest of the team to go home and get some rest and that I would call them if something happened. Y/N had been in and out of surgeries ever since the ambulance brought her in. "Family of Y/N Y/L/N?" A doctor asked and my head snapped up. "That's me. How is she?" I asked. "She's doing fine, she was in bad shape when she came in and it was touch and go for a while but she's expected to make a full recovery." I sighed and thanked the doctor as she told me where Y/N's room were and started making my way there. I sat down next to her and held her hand. I looked at her face that was almost as pale as the pillow but still beautiful. I took a deep breath before I started talking. "I love you, Y/N. So much, but I don't know how to tell you but I want to tell you, so bad." I said and I didn't notice that she was waking up. "I have loved you for almost forever now but I'm so afraid that you will push me away and I'll rather be your friend then be your nothing." I said. "Chin." She croaked out as I snapped my head towards hers. "I love you too." She said and I released a breath that I didn't even know I was holding and kissed her on the forehead. "Good." I said and smiled.
