Chapter 27 - Steve McGarrett

The request: The reader is Steve's and Catherine's daughter and she goes missing. Steve doesn't know that she is his daughter but when he starts looking for her, Catherine tells him.

Yours POV
"Bye, mom. I love you." I hung up after that not wanting to hear more of my moms rant that I need to lock the door after me and all that crap. I turned off my car and started to walk towards campus. I heard footsteps behind me but thought nothing off it until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to be met with a guy in his forties maybe? "Can I help you?" I asked him while looking at him with suspicion in my eyes. "Yes, you can." And with that, he hit me in the head with a crow- bar and the last thing I remembered before it all got black was my keys and bag dropping to the ground.
Steve's POV
"Kono, what is the case?" She pulled up a few photos of a bag and keys on the ground. "Possible kidnapping of an college girl. This is the street surveillance that caught the kidnapping." She pulled up an video where you could see a guy hitting a girl in the head and she dropped her purse and she became unconscious. "Any idea on who this girl is?" "Sorry, boss. But facial-rec didn't give an result and she isn't in any of our databases and her ID was stolen." I looked at the video as it played one more time. That's when I realised something. "Kono, can you trace who she was calling before she was kidnapped?" She nodded and did her thing. "Boss, she called, oh." I looked up at her and asked, "she called who?" She pulled a picture up on the computer. A picture of Catherine. "Boss, I don't have the whole conversation but I do have the end." She played the video again, but this time with enhanced sound. "Bye mom. I love you." "Mom?" I asked. Kono just shrugged her shoulders. "How do you want to play this Steve?" Danny asked. "Chin, you and Kono go to the crime scene and see if you can find any ID on this girl. Danny you and me are gonna have a little chat with Catherine." Right after Chin and Kono had left, we got an request from Catherine about an video chat. "When you speak about the devil." Danny said. "Yeah." I said as I pressed 'accept'. Catherine's face popped up on our screen and I could see that she was on a boat. "Cath. What can we do for you?" I asked nicely, but really I just wanted to cut to the chase. "Steve, I know that this is going sound really weird and impossible but do you remember 17 years ago when we sort of had an break?" Confused, I nodded. "Well, we didn't get together until like 11 months after that and well under 9 of those months I was pregnant. With your child Steve". Shocked as I was I couldn't get a word out so Danny stepped in. "Steve has a kid?" "Yeah. A 17 and a half year old daughter whose name is Y/N. And right now I got an call saying that she hasn't showed up for school, so I thought that you could see where she was since you're both on the island?" Rubbing my face, I sighed. This  wasn't gonna be easy. "Look, Cath. There is something we need to tell you." "Tell me what?" She seemed really nervous and I can't blame her. It's hers, well ours daughter. "Y/N was kidnapped." I watched her fall back in her chair as the schock washed over her. "You have to find her." She says before the screen goes black.
Yours POV Time skip a few days
I'm sitting on the floor, chained to the wall. I've been here for a few days now. Three or four I think. My body is bruised and bleeding from all the beating that I've taken. All the sudden, I hear the door open. I watch my captor walk in and point a gun at me. "I'm sorry that this is how it ends, little Rollins. But I have no use for you anymore." Just as he is about to press the trigger I can hear the door being kicked in, and a few voices. "Five-O!" "Harold Green, we know you're here!" "HPD!" I smile up at him as I open my mouth and screams, "I'M HERE!" He slaps me across the face as the cellar door opens. "Green, put the gun down!" I heard someone say. "No can do." He said as he blowed his head off. I screamed the loudest I had ever scream when his blood sprayed all over my face and his body dropped to the floor.
Catherine's POV
I was standing outside the house that my daughter was suppose to be in. I was still in my navy uniform since I had just come back from a three months assignment. I paced up and down when I heard a gun shot and someone scream. Someone who sounded like Y/N. I waited for like 1 minute until Steve came out with our daughter in his arm. The medics took him from her and that's when I saw all the blood and how bad she really looked. I gasped and my hand flew to my mouth as my eyes filled with tears. I felt a strong arm wrap around my shoulders and pull me closer. I knew it was Steve so I just continued to cry. "I'm sorry that I never told you, Steve." I heard him sigh before he answered. "It's okay, if it's okay with you, I would like to know her? Maybe she could live with me when you're out of town?" He asked. Thank god for men like Steve McGarrett. "Yeah. I would like that." He kissed my forehead before we climbed into the ambulance.
