You wiped your hands on your jeans once again as you felt your heart beat a little faster. "They're here, babe!" You heard Danny shout from downstairs. "I'll be right down!" This was the first time since you and Danny had been dating that you were gonna meet his children, Grace and Charlie. When you walked down the stairs you could hear laughing and you had barley made it down the last step of the stairs as you, or well your legs, were wrapped in a hug from Charlie. "Y/N!" When he let go of your legs you crouched down to his height. "Hi there, you must be Charlie. I've heard so many things about you from your father. Especially where your ticklish." You whispered the last part and he shrieked when you tickled him just a little bit on the sides. "Daddy! Why would you do that to me!" He screamed as he ran away from you and you ran after and scooped him up before you walked towards Grace. You extended a hand and she shook it. "Hi, I'm Y/N. It's great to finally meet you." Her face was blank as she looked you up and down, almost sizing you up. You couldn't blame her though, she only wanted the best for her dad. As soon as a small smile grew on her lips you knew that you would get along just great. "It's nice to meet you too." She said before both of you started chasing Charlie around the backyard.

Sent. Even though I could just tell him tomorrow at work I felt like I had to tell Steve now how well everything was going. I looked over our lawn where Y/N and Grace were chasing Charlie around and I couldn't help the soft smile that overtook my lips. I hope that I'll get to marry this girl one day. I put my phone on the table next to me before running towards them and joining them in the game. I'm so in love with her.
