Chapter 29 - Steve McGarrett part 2

Hello! death-dealer123 requested that she wanted a part two the one shot where you're his and Catherine's child. If you haven't read that one, I would suggest you read that one first.
The request: Y/N Rollins wakes up in the hospital with her mom beside her, since she wants to get to know her father, she joins Five-O with her mom.

Yours POV
I groaned as I slowly felt my self waking up. I opened my eyes slowly, only to be blinded by bright lights. I smelt that antiseptic smell and realised that I was in the hospital. I let my eyes adjust a little before I opened them. I saw my mom sleeping besides me so I shook her shoulder a little. Soon enough she was awake and gasped as soon she saw me. "Oh my god! Y/N! You're awake!!" I smiled slightly. "How long was I out?" I asked, seeing as it was sunny and warm on the day I was kidnapped and now, well if you looked out the window you could see dark clouds and big pools of rain waters. On the bright side, there was a rainbow in the horizon. "About two days, sweetie. I'm gonna call for an doctor." She said and smiled reassuring at me and walked out of the room, to find a doctor. Soon, my mom and a doctor came back and according to the doctor everything looked okay and I could go home that day. "You have no idea how glad I am that you're safe, Y/N." My mom said and hugged me. Well tried to. It didn't go that well since I'm lying in a bed and can't really get up. I was about to say something when there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" My mother called out. The door opened and in came three guys and one girl, all wearing badges. Great, I need to answer questions. I mentally sighed and made my self ready for the things I needed to remember. "Y/N, honey, do you remembered when you asked me who your father was and I said "you'll know when the time is right?" Confused, I nodded. She looked up at a tall, brown haired man with cargo pants and then looked back at me. "Y/N, this is your father, Steve McGarrett and these are your uncles, Chin Ho Kelly and Danny Williams and the girl over there is your aunt, Kono Kalakua." As shocked as I was, I couldn't get a word out. I opened my mouth multiple times and closed it almost as fast. "Oh, okay." Was all I said before I could feel my self slipping out of consciousness.
Steve's POV
"Oh, okay." Was all she said before she went limp in her hospital bed and the machines went crazy and started beeping like hell. A doctor and a few nurses came running in. "She's not breathing!" "No pulse!" "Start chest compressions!" I held Catherine as she cried in my arms. "Charge to 160!" "Charging!" "Clear!" "Still no pulse!" "Charge to 200!" "Charging!" "Clear!" "She's back!" "Breathing sounds good!" "Sinus rhythm!" I felt Catherine sigh out of relief and I looked at my 17 year old daughter with my eyes were brimming with unshed tears. I sat down besides her and held her hand as Cath sat besides her on the other side. I noticed that she was waking up. "Dad?" She asked and my heart sped up. She looked over to me and I could see her eyes were glossy with tears. "Is this for real? Are you my dad?" She asked and all I could do was to nod. She took her other hand and gripped it hard and she looked me right in the eyes. "It's okay, I don't blame you that you haven't been there when I grew up and I don't blame my mom." She whispered as a few tears spilled over for both her and me. I took her small hands in mine and kissed her forehead and let out a  teary laugh. Behind me, were Danny, Chin and Kono smiling like idiots. 
A few years later, Y/N is 20
"Oh, c'mon, dad! You know that I'm the best person for this job!" My daughter snapped at me as I had said no to her joining five-O. She slumped down in a chair and I could see that she was upset. I sighed. "Sweetie, I'm sorry alright, I just worry about you but if I let you join-" I could see her face lighten up directly. I continued, "You'll have to promise me that you will be careful and when I tell you to do something, you do it." She nodded like an idiot. "Yes sir." She said and did a little salut before walking over to me, squealing and hugged me. I took her hand and led her out of my office. Danny sent me an apologetic look as he and the team noticed that me and Y/N had an argument. "Guys, Y/N here will be joining the team and I want you to look after her until she learns everything." I looked at my daughter as she hugged everyone and as she laughs and I thought back to about 3 years when I didn't even know who she was and I was close to losing her. But now, I love her with all of my heart.
