I stand and stare a while as people stream through the gate before me in the hopes that just maybe, like some cheesy rom com, he'll come running back to me. It isn't until a kindly old lady asks me if I'm ok do I realise the dam had broken and tears were streaming down my face. I assure her that I would be fine and turn to leave, trudging slowly back to the car.

I climb into the driver's seat but having to adjust it for my shorter legs only sets me off once more and I sob with my head resting against the steering wheel until I am interrupted by my phone chiming in my pocket.

'I said no crying!' The text message read.

'How did you know?' I scanned the parking lot with one last glimmer of hope but that was quashed when my phone sounded from my hand.

'Because you haven't found it.' I frowned.

'Found what?'

'Look to your left' I did as Zak said, I didn't see anything at first until I glanced down to find something sat in the passenger seat. A small wolf plushy was holding up an envelope and had something glittering around its neck. I picked them up with shaking hands. The cute fluffy grey wolf wore a beautiful silver charm bracelet as a collar, as I looked more closely I couldn't help but laugh at the charms that jingled delicately as I turned it in my hand. I found a wolf, a bear cub, a witches hat, a ghost, a cross that matched Zak's finger tattoo exactly, a crescent moon, a bat, a pumpkin and there was even a big foot I guessed to represent Aaron, my sasquatch. Finally there was a heart simply engraved with our initials ZB & TF. I fastened it around my wrist immediately.

'Its beautiful, I love it, thank you so much...wolf man!' I quickly typed.

'Open the envelope will you!' He shot back immediately.

I slid my finger into the envelope, lifted the flap and pulled out a plain card wallet. Confused I flipped it open. Tickets, plane tickets, two of them. As I separated them for a closer look a piece of paper flutter into my lap. I picked it up and saw it was a handwritten note, I read it eagerly.

Dearest Tracy,

I am going to miss you more than I could ever convey in words so I thought this would hopefully show you just how committed I am to this, to us. The first ticket is for you to come visit me in Vegas for a couple of weeks. If you check the date you will see that it is for a little over a month from now, I would love for you to join me for the opening of the museum, it wouldn't feel right without you. And I admit its a damn good excuse to see you sooner.

The second is an open ticket from Melbourne to London and London to Vegas. This is for you to use once we have the necessary arrangements and visas in place. I wanted you to know that I meant everything that I said. I can't wait for you to join me and I will help in every way possible to make that happen. This ticket is just the start of our life together.

I hope you will accept these from me with the love with which they are intended. I love you wholeheartedly and I need to see you again soon.

Yours always,

Zak

PS Don't even think about driving until you stop crying!!

My laugh at the post script only proved his point as a tear plopped onto the page having been dislodged from the end of my nose. I picked up my phone and tapped on Zak's name.

"Bagans!!" I say before he even has a chance to speak.

"Don't be mad I know you could buy..."

"I fucking love you!" I interrupt before he can finish.
