We arrive at the Manly quarantine station an hour before sundown, Zak gives me a quick walk through so I can get my bearings and don't get hopelessly lost in the dark. Considering this was a quarantine station that would have been full of suffering and loss all I felt was good vibes and I'm relieved at that.

"So what do you think?" Billy is keen to find out if I felt anything.
"It sa great location, heaps to explore and I have a really good feeling about it. It feels all fuzzy and cosy, I know that sounds insane but we'll meet something benevolent tonight I'm sure of it. There'll be plenty of action but we needn't be worried." I say with a surety that I can't explain.
"You really feel all that just from walking through?" Aaron asks, I bite my lip and nod. "Awesome!"
"Hmmm the fans might not like it, they seem to prefer the evil and scary stuff." Muses Jay.
"I don't care I want a friendly lockdown for a change, plus it will be good to show them its not all demons and disgruntled spirits." Aaron exclaims and I can't say I blame him with all the experiences and attachments he's had. To my surprise Zak also agrees but I guess they have all been through a lot for the show. They love what they do that's for sure but they can't deny it takes its toll sometimes.
"I think it will surprise them to show them Casper instead of Lucifer." Zak ponders, "Yeah it will be good to mix it up a bit, it keeps it fresh."
Its time to get started so we gather up the equipment and as a group enter the main hospital block.
"You ok bear cub?" Zak checks with me before we get going.
"I'm good, I feel really good about this in fact." I assure him.
"Good but if anything changes you let us know straight away ok?" I nod and give him a kiss to let him know that I mean it.
"You take care too ok, no silly stunts!" I whisper, he nods and flashes me a smile, I'm a little surprised that he agrees so amicably, maybe Perth has shaken him up more than I thought.
"Ok lets go dark!" Zak yells snapping me out of my thoughts and we all head inside.
Initially we stay together as a group and explore the maze of a building, we lose Billy and Aaron to different rooms along the way as they do lone investigations. Zak and I go together and pick our way down the narrow staircase to the basement. As soon as I enter the room I feel a warming energy surround me.
"Zak do you feel that?"
"I feel something, look at my arms!" I aim the camera at his arms and see his hairs standing on end.
"Its like some kind of energy around us, but its warm and tingly it even feels protective." I try and explain it for the benefit of the cameras.
"Yeah,that's it! Protective, even loving. It sure is different to anything else I've felt before, even Jerusha didn't feel like this.' I try not to raise my eyebrow as he refers to the flirtation he had with a spirit that likes to seduce men. "Let's EVP!" His excitement is palpable and I can't help but smile at his enthusiasm.
