We both wake refreshed after a night blessedly free from terrors. After a leisurely breakfast we go to Billy's room to start the long laborious task of going through all the footage and audio recordings. All but Aaron were already there and the monitors and equipment ready to go. Billy is taken aback to see me.

"Oh Tracy! How are you doing?" He asks as he collects himself.

"I'm ok, really I am." I insist.

"Are you sure you want to see this today? It can be pretty rough going and pretty boring too." He checks with me.

'I've discussed it with Zak, Billy, I need to do it." I explain.

"She wouldn't be here if I didn't think she could handle it." Zak intercedes and I try not to roll my eyes at his authoritative tone, as if he could stop me!

"Anyway I'll be in charge of drinks and snacks." I try and change the subject.

"Deal!" Aaron booms as he comes through the door behind us and saves me from further scrutiny, i throw him a grateful smile.

While they all deal with the technical stuff I head out and load up on coffees and snacks, enough I hope to make up for being such a pain in the arse. When I get back everybody is already engrossed in their tasks, I ask Zak to let me know if there's anything he thinks I should see and snatch a kiss before settling on the bed listening to the digital recordings. Hours went by without anything new and I was fighting to concentrate. Zak showed me a few interesting visuals but we'd yet to get to the main event. I went to order in lunch and we all took a break to stretch our legs, to get some sunlight and for me to get some much needed loving from my man, I was very much enjoying the feel of his arms around me as we got some air out on the balcony but we soon got back to the matter in hand. The crew's dedication and passion was really admirable and their bonds as a team enviable.

I flopped back onto the bed with the EVP sessions, the guys went back to the monitors.

"Stop staring at me!" Zak looked over to me laughing after half an hour.

"Oh! Sorry! I didn't even realise." I flush and bury my head in my arms.

"Sheesh can't keep her eyes off me!" I hear him chortle, I can't deny that he's right...as much as I don't want to give him the satisfaction. "See ain't denying it." He continues to laugh, I lift my head and stick my tongue out at him before hiding my beetroot face again, making him laugh even harder.

Ignoring him I go back to listening to the audio and mark off a few odd whispers and groans but there's nothing striking that I can hear clearly. I'm laid back on the bed with my eyes closed trying to concentrate on the sounds without falling asleep, completely oblivious to what else was going on in the room around me. I yelp and jump up pulling my foot back from whatever had just grabbed it. I find Zak stood at the end of the bed grinning and the others trying not to laugh.

'Geez dude! You trying to give me a frigging heart attack?" I grump, holding my hand against my rapidly beating heart.

"Sorry sweetie." He chuckles and has the decency to look at least a little sheepish. He quickly becomes solemn however, "We're just starting to get to the part you should see, are you ready for it?

"Can we take a short break first?" I ask wanting to take a moment to recover from my fright and to get some fresh air as I had a feeling it will be quite oppressive to watch.

'Of course we can, sweetie." We all take a 10 minute refreshment and toilet break before settling down in front of the screens. I know its no accident that I am sandwiched between Zak and Aaron and I love them for it. Zak takes hold of my hand and Billy presses play. We watch through all the different cameras from the time Aaron and me first caught the EVP up to when we were back in the control room after the attack. With all the different cameras to cover it took a little over two hours to review. By the end of it all I found myself shaking and tears were falling silently down my face. Zak had pulled me to him and Aaron leant back puffing out his cheeks. The stunned silence was as loud as a freight train.

"Are you ok sweetie?" Zak whispers, I nod and pull my sleeve over my hand to wipe my face.

"Its pretty confronting huh?" I smile through my tears, Zak gives me a squeeze. "I'm ok though, I just have no words really."

"We totally get it dude." Aaron reassures me with a smile.

"Thanks guys, I think it helped for me to watch it though." I admit.

'How so?" Zak asks me.

'Well it reassures me that I'm not going completely crazy!" Zak shakes his head incredulous at my statement. "And it also confirms to me that I did the right thing. I can feel it even just from watching it, it wasn't going to let you go, not if I hadn't intervened."

"You're incredible!" Zak looks at me in wonder, Aaron is open mouthed and speechless for once, the others just look confused.

"Huh?"I was pretty confused myself.

"Not that demonic attachments are something we often come across and even less do we witness the moment that it actually occurs but never has anyone reacted as calmly as you! All you're worried bout is whether you're crazy and whether I'm ok, you've just watched yourself get attacked, by something you can't even see, nor completely believe exists!" His voice gets louder and goes up an octave. I shrug.

"Wel lI didn't exactly enjoy it and watching it has been the opposite of fun but what can I do? It is what it is, getting all hysterical over it won't change anything. But knowing that I protected you means it wasn't for nothing. I can't reverse it so why even worry about that." I would do it again too if it meant keeping Zak safe but I didn't mention that knowing I would be enjoying my own solo lockdown in a boring hotel room at Zak's insistence if I did.

"Ok maybe you are a little crazy." Zak crinkles his nose and breaks the somber mood.

"Oi!" I swat him on the leg and he chuckles.

You're badass though!" Aaron exclaims.

"Yeah that's more like it! Take note Zachary Bagans!" He laughs again and pulls me into another hug and holds me tight.

"Thanks for saving me Tracy Fox." He whispers so only I can hear him. The way he says it it makes me wonder if he meant from the demon attack or something else entirely.

You can probably tell i had a bit of writer's block at this point, sorry its short and not much happens. I hope you stick with it as there are some important plot points in there. Thanks for reading this far. Let me know what you think *GM*
