"So what's the plan for today Mr Bagans?"

"Well Ms Fox its a work day I'm afraid, we need to review the lockdown footage, wanna help? Remember no wandering off alone!" He alludes to the incident in the pool for the first time since it happened and it jars me back to reality.

"Yeah."I harrumph, annoyed that I'm being restricted but resign to it knowing its for my own good. "I'll help or do some research on this whole witch business."

"Good idea, we'll get to the bottom of this you know right? He tries to reassure me. I raise an eyebrow. "You'll just have to put up with me and the boys until we do!" He grins and I can't help but laugh.

'I guess I can live with that." I nudge him with my shoulder and he chuckles as he pulls me into a hug.

We join the other's in Billy's room where everything is set up and ready to review the recordings we made just over 24 hours ago. It felt more like days had gone by since then. The guys all quickly became engrossed, I was still feeling a little averse to all things paranormal so decide to look into some history instead, lets see what dirty secrets I can dig up. I plug in all our details into the ancestry sites and send some emails to my family to see if they had anything that could shed some light on my ancestral lineage. This takes some time and before I know it I feel a tap on my shoulder.

'Come on sweetie, time to take a break." Zak smiles down at me, "So have you found anything?" He asks me over a sandwich. I shake my head no as I finish chewing.

"I'm trawling back through the generations, its going to take a while but did you know you have English and Irish ancestors? I should have known really." I ponder.

"I heard snippets that we descended from Brits and possibly Irish too,my family is catholic after all. Why do you think you should have guessed?" He looks puzzled.

"Oh the eyes, the hair. I've only seen beautiful eyes and dark hair like that on Irish and West Country folk." I wink at him and he actually blushes!

"Oh!"He murmurs and I hide my chuckle in a bite of sandwich.

"Its interesting that we are descended from the same part of the world don't you think? And I don't just mean England and Ireland, but the same parts of the West Country and the Donegal area of Ireland. So the same part of the same part!" I exclaim.

"Hmmm that is weird, what are the chances hey?" He agrees.

"I'm waiting on some searches and other info but i'll keep digging when we get back, its so fascinating!" I enthuse.

"I can tell I didn't hear a peep from you all morning, I thought I'd gone deaf."

"You make it sound like I never shut up!" I sulk, Zak just laughs at havinging succeeded in teasing me.

"How's the playback going?" I change the subject.

"Good, good. We haven't found anything significant as yet other than our EVP session together but we still have lots to go through. Speaking of which we better get back, I don't want to be accused of slacking off."

We take a bunch of coffees with us and get back to business. We all labour at our tasks and I quickly become engrossed in all that I discover. Names, occupations, years and locations, the branches of the trees continue to reach further and further into the past. I eventually hit a dead end when I have to wait for documents from the ancient parishes in Devon and Cornwall where our families seem to have originated. Its likely to take a day or two before the information I requested will be sent to me so I save all I have found so far, close the lid on my laptop and stretch trying not to yawn too loudly. As I look up i'm surprised to see that the only light is coming from the screens around the room, all of us so lost in our tasks that we didn't notice night closing in around us. The crew are still completely focused on the monitors so I quietly call for some room service and check my phone while waiting for my order to be delivered.

I flick on the light and a chorus of heys and whats fill the room in protest as four pairs of eyes blink at the sudden glare. They soon change their tune when they see the banquet of beer and pizza that  Ihave assembled before them.

'Oh wow! Can we keep her?" Aaron asks as he takes a massive bite of pizza, cheese dripping down his chin.

"Hmmm let me think about it." Zak smiles and pulls me to him for a kiss. I blush and hide my face in his shoulder as he chuckles.
