Chapter 120

Snape was walking through the halls as he watched the Gryffindor Quiddich team walk back inside after eight that night, they were all soaked to the skin and for some odd reason both Fred and George were walking bandy-legged and seem to be wincing as though in pain.

Must have gotten slivers in their butts off their brooms? Snape thought as he watched them continue on toward the Gryffindor Common room. That’s a really funny place to get them. Snape laughed as he walked off through the halls.

A few of the portraits looked at him in surprise as he walked off still chuckling to himself.

A few of the woman would take out a small picture of a baby boy with very unusual hair and beam at him, before looking sadly at Snape.

The weeks that followed it was not surprising that teachers had heard the newest concerning the twins?

Snape had of course heard about the Weasley twins’ newest invention the Skiving Snackboxes.

Snape was in the staff room when a couple of teachers were talking about them, and how clever the two boys were, although it may be disruptive to have a student faint suddenly.

“I’ll just let them lie on the floor and work around them.” Sprout said with a laugh, the others all agreed it was a good idea. The teachers all fell quiet when Umbridge walked into the staff room a wide flabby grin on her toad face. Snape left at this time to head to his room, he was not at all surprised that the other teachers all started to leave after him.

Snape walked into the classroom and looked around at the students as they were all stopping their conversations to look up at him with a mixture of fear and adoration, depending on the student of course.

“I know that some of you are tempted into purchasing the Skiving Snackboxes that are circulating around the school.” Snape swept his eyes over them, most did not look too nervous. “I am advising you to not use those in my class, I shall take points off houses that do so and I shall hand out detention to those students who find it humorous to puke in here.” Snape didn’t mind if they skipped out on Umbridge classes since that was the biggest desire he had heard from students as he passed them in the hall. He did figure though he should head them off before they decided to skip his class. Snape set them to work on the potion and watched from his desk, he didn’t feel much like looking at them, since most smelled of burning chocolate.

It had been a couple of weeks since the wet Quiddich practice and reminding students to not use skiving Snackboxes in his class when he was walking down the hall looking for students who were attempting to get into trouble. Snape saw that a few students were walking in a odd sort of manner as though hoping no one would notice them walking down the hall. They would look over their shoulders and peek around corners before moving on.

Snape slipped into the shadows and watched the students, three of them from Hufflepuff. Snape followed them as they walked to the seventh floor and stood in front of a wall he knew very well. Snape watched as they entered the room and was soon joined by several other students, who all slipped into the room. Snape watched both directions if he was right in his count then twenty-eight students, were now in the Room of Requirement.

“Looks as though Potter has discovered this room and found it useful for their Defense practice,” Snape slipped up to the door as he drew out a flesh colored piece of string and stuck one end into his ear as he sent the other end in under the door. Snape smiled as he heard Hermione talking in her bossy voice.

Snape grinned even wider as they decided on the name and that Harry would be their leader.

“She is quite the organized girl,” Snape whispered to himself as he listens to them working on the disarming spell. “Sounds like Potter has; it well in hand there, total bedl….am….” Snape jerked the string out as a whistle blast hit his ear full force.
